MBA at TAPMI

I had been offered admission from GIM, GLIM-PGPM but I chose TAPMI because I felt, TAPMI is better than those 2 in terms of placements. TAPMI accepts scores from CAT, XAT & GMAT. The minimum percentile for CAT & XAT is 85. For GMAT minimum score is 630. Whereas candidates having more than 20 months of experience are short-listed based on profile. I did not avail Quota for admission into TAPMI. There is no age restriction for admission. TAPMI admission process involves Group discussion, English proficiency test & Personal interview.

I was offered admission for PGDM- core & PGDM- Marketing in TAPMI. But I prefer to choose PGDM- core as the PGDM- Marketing course was quite younger when compared to PGDM- core. Also, My inclination towards specialization was not quite sure at the time of admission. TAPMI has excellent experienced faculty with faculty: student ratio is 16:1. TAPMI follows case study-based Pedagogy which will help students to be more engaged & involved in the class. Also, the case-study approach will help to develop analytical, collaborative skills along with content knowledge.

Around 181 companies visited TAPMI for the internship program. The highest stipend paid was 1,20,000 INR & the Average stipend was around 24,000 INR. Some of the internship profiles offered were Sales & marketing intern, HR intern, Marketing Research intern, Digital marketing intern, Junior finance research analyst, etc

TAPMI has 100% placement record with all the eligible students. Around 130+ companies visited during 2019-21 & Average package is 11.2L & Highset package was 25L. Companies visited from sectors like consultancy, Banking, IT-ITES, Banking, E-coo=mmerce, FMCG etc

The fees structure of TAPMI is similar to the B- schools which are in the same league. There are good scholarship opportunities & it will depend on the entrance exam score & their family income. More details can be found on TAPMI website.

TAPMI has 44 acres of land with a beautiful lush green campus. It has good infrastructure with hostel & mess. sports facilities like cricket nets, basketball court is available within the campus. There are lots of clubs & committees & students can get into these through interviews.

TAPMI is a fully residential program & it is compulsory for all students to stay in college hostels. 2 students/ room is allocated on a random basis. Rooms are air-conditioned with attached washrooms. Meals are affordable.

TAPMI admission process consists of Group discussion, English proficiency test & Personal interview. The Group discussion in our group had 6 candidates & it was moderated by 2 faculties. The time limit for the GD was 40 minutes. The topic was "Women Empowerment". Personal Interview had behavioral-based questions.
