Remarks
The admission process of TAPMI was well organised and the entire process was transparent. You have to apply for Admission in this college giving in details of your CAT/XAT/GMAT score , Work Experience, Academic Qualifications and Marks (Minimum 60%). If your profile gets shortlisted you'll be asked to sit for an English Proficiency Test. Upon clearing that, the final round will be a Group Discussion, followed by Personal Interview. Do prepare well for the same and be up to date with the current affairs, international and business news. The entire process of admission stretches for around 25-30 days and you will be informed of all the process by the Admission Team. The Admission Team is very responsive and will reply to all the relevant queries.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Faculty Members are Experts in their respective fields with most of them having completed their Ph.D from reputed Universities and are experienced in the industry roles as well. The course curriculum is well-planned, keeping in mind the modern industry standards. The professor to student ratio for every class is 1:60. The professors are very helpful and make sure to clear all the doubts of the students after the end of every session. TAPMI believes in holistic learning approach and students are often graded during regular sessions. Quizzes and end term examination are conducted to evaluate the students' performance.
Internships Opportunities
The Summer Internship Interviews starts right from the month of September. Students get to do their internship in the department of their choice from companies like Gartner, HUL, Wipro Consumer Services, EY, Qualcomm, and plenty more. Mostly the internship opportunities are with stipend and for a period of 2 months. Students do convert PPOs and PPIs as well.
Placement Experience
The college records 100% placement every year. Even during the pandemic when majority of the colleges struggled to place their students, the placement of all the students were complete by the month of July,2020. The Average Package offered is 11.37L with the highest being 25L per annum. Major companies like EY, Deloitte, HCL, Infosys, KPMG come for placements with various roles in Consulting, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and HR.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee for 2yrs of PDGM is 15,10,000. Since it is a fully residential college, the hostel is a mandate, and the hostel fees in 1,55,000 per year. There are many scholarships that the institute provides based on merit. You can apply for the same after you've taken admission. A loan facility is available from all the major banks and NBFCs.
Campus Life
The campus of the college is huge and you will definitely get one of the best college campuses here in the country. There's greenery all around, with diverse flora and fauna. There are many clubs and committees in the college, all run by the students catering to the different interest areas of the students. The Library is huge, classes are well equipped, and labs are updated with the relevant modern software and hardware. Atharva, the annual fest of the college is one of the oldest in the country and well known amongst management colleges.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel Rooms are clean, well maintained, and spacious. Located in the beautiful campus and the university town, Manipal you will hardly have anything to complain about. The rooms are on a twin-sharing basis. The college is fully residential and the mess and canteen have plenty of food options.
Interview Experience
You need to apply for admission in the college with a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT score. If your profile gets shortlisted based on your entrance examination score, work experience, academic qualifications, and achievements, next you will have to write on a topic. For example, "The increasingly rapid pace of life today causes more problems than it solves". Followed by a English Proficiency Test. On successful completion, the final round is a Group Discussion followed by a Personal Interview round. Make sure you are up to date with the current affairs and international news.
