Tapmi review

I have applied in tapmi, IIT, NIRMA, KJSOM, SIBM, and finally joined Tapmi. I don't avail myself any quota during my admission. the admission criteria for admission in Tapmi is CAT/XAT/GMAT. For CAT and XAT, the minimum percentile required is 85%. The admission process comprised of three steps: Group discussion, interview, English proficiency test.

I was interested in PGDM. Faculty quality is apt. faculty to student ratio is good i.e. 1:15.. faculties are qualified and most have their Phd degrees. Few of them are from iims. Exams are well conducted and proctored.

More than 150+ companies visited for internship offers and many also offered PPO. Common roles for marketing are sales intern and diversified roles are offered in Finance domain. Time alloted for project completion is 8 weeks.

Last year for SIP 100+ companies visited campus for placements and complete batch was placed. Avg package stands around 12.5 LPA and the highest package was 22LPA for the final placements. Tapmi is well known for Finance and all major companies visit Tampi.

Hike policy is not mentioned. The academic fee is decided by the college and for our batch '23 was 15L. The college can change the fees as and when required. Scholarship as per academic performance and per yr family income is provided.

The annual fest is Brandscan where many colleges participate in various competitions. All the major books related to management are available in the library. There are 20+ clubs and committees handled by students. Digital classrooms are set up.

Tapmi is a fully residential campus where students and faculties stay inside campus. The mess facility is available with an ideal cost of 170 Rs per day. Hostel rooms are air-conditioned and well furnished.

GD topic was Changes in Education Policy in India. Topics will vary slot-wise. The GD was moderated one. The interview was more focused on assessing the behavioral aspects of the candidate. English Proficiency test was the last round of assessment and conducted for 1 hr duration.
