I took NMAT Dec 2010. I scored 215. I opted for this course because NMIMS MBA Pharmaceutical Management is the best in India. My result was out in Jan. I was asked to send a demand draft if I was interested in taking admission for NMIMS to arrange my GDPI. The process happened in first week of May. Results were out in 3rd week of May and the fee had to be submitted within 1 week. Course itself started in 3rd week of June.

Curriculum is gruelling and very personal. The professors will literally get into your personal lives to make sure you become a confident and knowledgeable person. The best part is fieldwork. Once a week you go out in mumbai and meet doctors, come back and prepare reports from your questionnaire. It is legwork and I hated doing it, but when I entered the professional world, it became my strength.

Yes there is a 2 month internship. All the Pharma big names come for recruitment. I was recruited in Sanofi for 2 months at 15k per month. Average stipend is 10-15k per month.

Job placement is amazing. Average placement is around 7-8 lakh per annum. Gsk, Boehringer ingelheim offers 8lakh, Sanofi, Drl offer 10lakh, Sun Pharma offers 7 lakhs. Abbott offers 7.5 Lakhs. You name the Pharma company and it visits campus.

Fee is expensive. I paid 7 lakh for 2 yrs plus 3 lakh stay plus going and coming back home of 1 lakh. Completed MBA in 11 lakh INR in 2013. Now i have my sister in sane course. She will complete her MBA in 16 lakh INR.

There are scholarships but as they were not offered in our course, I do not know about them. At a college like NMIMS there must be scholarships, and as they change year over year any info, if I knew any would be outdated now.

Gender ratio is 40:60 girls:boys. There are no dorm parties there is official freshers and senior party. There are 2-3 workshops every Saturday There are 2 cultural societies but they majorly have a supporting role to placement committed. I have met and was acquaintances with people from across India.

Alumni is extremely helpful whether it is for guidance or for job placement. It is a good network. But it is all informal. It would be nice if they can make it official. Our alum are placed at high positions and they help a lot.

Exams are frequent. Every 6 weeks. It's trimester system. 13 weeks one trimester. 6-7 week mid terms happen and 12-13 week you have trimester finals. It's a course designed to get you ready. You can catch some chill time in 1-2 and 8th week. Attendance has to be 90% and Saturday also has classes all of them go till 6-7 pm in evening and start at 9 am.

NMIMS MBA Pharmaceutical Management is best in country. I wanted to take admission. I was in DU pursuing my 4rth yr of B. Pharma. Online I registered myself and paid online fee of 2150/- in October 2010. 29th December I Gave my exam. 3rd week of January 2011 I got my results and was invited for GDPI. GD wasn't conducted in our course at that time. We had a written test on Pharma and long PI.

The faculty is not only qualified and interested to teach, but they even groom you for the real world and situations. All you have to do is keep an open mind, be open to be influenced by your professors. They might get into your business but they want only the best. I used to be so irritated when I was told to dress better, learn tersely but eventually these were the things that have taken me ahead in life.
