Remarks

1. I appeared for the CAT, XAT, and NMAT examinations to get admission into the MBA programs in India. I scored 88.2 percentile in CAT and hence received a call from T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal. 2. TAPMI accepts candidates with CAT scores above 85 percentile. The candidates applying must be in the age group of 20-30 years. 3. The first round of admission was Group Discussion with other candidates. The second round was a Behavioural Interview where the interviewers asked questions regarding my Past experience and why I wanted to pursue an MBA. 4. After the interview, candidates have to appear for an English Proficiency test. 5. Once the candidate has cleared all the rounds, they receive admission at the university.

Course Curriculum Overview

1. TAPMI provides an opportunity to the students to learn from highly experienced faculty, both with Industrial as well as teaching experience. 2. The term exams for the online mode of education have been divided into 2 parts. For instance, Term 1 (12 weeks): Part A exams (after the first six weeks) and Part B exams (after the next six weeks). 5. Students undergo continuous evaluation throughout the course through quizzes, assignments and group projects. The end term exams are usually having 50-60% weightage. This allows students to improve throughout the course and give better performance.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time.
