Remarks
I applied for GLIM PGDM, IIM Kashipur BA and TAPMI PGDM. I didn't avail any quota for admission for any of the mentioned courses. TAPMI admission process consists of 3 stages which are shortlisting through SOP then GD/ PI and English Proficiency Test.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty to student ratio is 1:12. Most of our professors are having PhDs. We have 3 trimesters in a year and 2 term exams per trimester. The exams are conducted through the Digiproctor portal. I selected PDGM Core to understand basic understanding of management.
Internships Opportunities
Companies coming for internships come from varied domains such as Finance, FMCG, IT, Consulting and Marketing. 100% of students are placed in summer internships. Internships last for 2 months and many receive PPOs as per their performance.
Placement Experience
TAPMI provides 100% placement with top brands coming on campus from various domains such as FMCG, IT, Finance and Consulting. 4th term students are eligible for campus placement and many students receive PPO from their summer internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The hike policy is decided by the college admissions team. There is a scholarship based on the CAT/XAT/GMAT score. There is a total of 30 scholarships which are divided among 3 segments which are 95-100 percentile, 90-94 percentile and 85 to 89 percentile.
Campus Life
Annual Fest is Brand Scan. Several festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja, Onam, Holi and Diwali are celebrated on the campus itself. All classrooms are fully air conditioned and seats are arranged in a level fashion.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility includes attached bathrooms, ACs attached and single/double sharing occupancy. Meals have to be purchased separately and are not included in the hostel cost. Electricity also needs to be paid separately.
Interview Experience
My GD topic was "Jugaad, India's form of innovation". Most of my interview questions was HR and scenario based which was related to my work. I prepared it by reading the latest news articles and preparing basic/general interview questions like Introduce yourself well in advance.
