''Short visit to College''

I am pursuing my Btech from GL BAJAJ GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS MATHURA in Computer Science and Engineering and I attend my classes in college regularly as my teachers are very supportive and regular in functioning their roles. As I belong to the unreserved category because of which I have not availed any quota for admission. So no such details I have for quota. Admission to my college is done based on senior secondary percentage. If marks are more than 90% then a 100% scholarship is given to the student. That's why I am very lucky as I belong to such a category. There are no such restrictions on age while taking admission in college. There is another way of taking admission in college through UPSEE counselling which is done after clearing the UPSEE exam. Then after the entrance exam, there is a day on which counselling is done for taking admission to college.

I choose the course Bachelor of Technology because I am very interested in the field of Programming. That's why I choose Computer Science and Engineering as a stream for Bachelor of Technology. There are approximately more than 300+ students in course of BTech and 50+ teachers for such several students. In my college, every faculty member is well qualified and expert in their respective fields. Every faculty member knows how they can teach new technology to the students and not only teach about that particular technology but also get students familiar with that new technology. In college, there are 2 semesters in a year and each semester contains 2 sessional exams and 1 pre university test and a final university test which are organized by APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow.

In my college students can participate in placement activities after 3rd semester. So students are eligible for placements after 3rd semester. There are many reputed companies are visiting the college campus like cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Vivo, Adobe, and many more. There are 2000+ placements are offered by companies to the students of the college. In the 2021 batch, there is the highest package of 28.29 lac given to students by Adobe company and there is an average package of 5 lac which is given to the students. Almost 85% of students are getting placements every year. I am preparing to get placed in a reputed company after achieving my degree in Bachelor Of Technology.

There are different fees for different courses in my college. But the course I choose has an annual fee of 85317/- and have a separate hostel, security and maintenance fees. So there is approximately a cost of 1.2 lac for every year. At the time of admission, I get a scholarship based on senior secondary marks and there are scholarships given to the meritorious students and there is another scholarship given by the Government of India for education.

There are many types of fests are organized on the college campus. In college, there is an annual fest that is organized at the end of the academic calendar. There are also freshers fest and farewell fest for new and final year students respectively. Festivals are also organized every month in which many seminars are done by good speakers which motivate students of the college in their future endeavours. There are also weekly club activities are organized in the college.
