I took KLUEEE (Kalasalingam university Engg Entrance Exam) which was conducted by the university themself, out of 100 i scored 68 and opted this college for CSE department.

The curriculum was quite challenging and well defined. It's 50/50 proportion for both internal and final exam. The syllabus was almost like the same one offered by IIT. Equal importance given to all internal/sessional exams assignments and final exam. Which makes each and every student responsible all the time during the due course of education.

They provide internships to Master degree pursuing students. 10% of the people get the stipend in a department. The amount was Rs 7000 with free accomodation.

Placement is quite well, they have a separate placement cell who coordinates with well reputed MNC's and bring them for campus placements. HCl, TCS, Tech Mahindra are regular and Athena, SRM Technologies, WIPRO and CSS corp and many more companies visited for on campus placements.

Every semester there will be a technical and cultural event conducted by all departments individually it includes symposiums, workshops, seminars. Also there will be a inter and intra cultural fest which will happen once in a year. Celebrities will mark their presence during these events.

They offer scholarships in name of Kalasalingam, also Union bank of india inside the campus offer education loan. Also central government scholarships available for the rank holders and people who are admitted via AIEEE.

Campus is greener and eco-friendly. Gender ratio will be around 60/40 M/F. The culture looks cool because people from all over india and around the world study here. So its very cool and enjoyable to stay there. Majority of students from south india but still it does not look that like a south indian college. Even food sold in cafeteria were made suitable to all kind of people.

There will be two internal sessional exams which will be conducted in alternative month and then the internal laboratory exam. Then it's the final exam which is conducted at the end of the semester. Apart from this few open book test and assignment reviews were conducted occassionally.

I was called for counselling based on my KLUEEE mark and i was alloted a time slot. During which i was allowed to choose from the course available based on the vacancy. Fortunately i got the last left seat in CSE dept. Which i have prompted. I got the allocation letter post the counselling and paid the advance confirmation fees.

Faculties were well capable and qualified. Almost 80% of the faculties holds Ph.D and rest were enrolled or part time pursuing. Faculties are well helping and focused to every individual. They deliver stuff in such way that every one tend to capture it at first instance such brief and clarity they have.
