A college for Geeks and Toppers

The only thing which needs to be improved by college is to encourage students in extra activities. Sports, Events, Fests, etc because we wont get the engineering life back.

Entrance Exam: TS-ECET, Rank : 142, I preferred this College becuase of good record in placements, its near to my house, and yeah most popular reason its the one of the top colleges in Hyderabad.

I dont think they provide internship. They provide industrial visit which is carried out by near by tech/software companies. Recently my classmates had industrial visit in Infosys.

Placements in Vasavi are dam awesome. 95 of the students get selected in placements. Vasavi have popularity for its placements. From big tech giants product based companies like Google, Microsoft, Cisco, etc to service based companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have been visiting Vasavi. Google, Microsoft has stopped visiting since last few year hope they will come back when we get placements opportunity.

Euphoria is the biggest even in whole year. Vasavians celebrate it very joyfully. It is conducted in February every year. College spents much on making the even awesome. They even call celebrities from tollywood, Bollywood, singers ( YO YO Honey Singh).

As the college is very much reputated the fees are very high. The quality of studies are also the same. It reflects the students future. For an average family it will be very expensive college. A new fees structure jave been introduced which makes the Vasavi most expensive college. About 1. 90lacs per annum.

College itself doesn't offer scholarship but there are organisation made by students to help needy people.

Gender ratios is very much similar between male and female. All the students mingile with each other easily. There is no restrictions on gender based. Campus life is just good if and only if you are interested in the course you are doing. College is strict, you will feel like its not good but belive me the college is not that much strict compared to others.

There is no hostel facility in college. You can find hostels in near by places Iike narsinghi, langar house etc. Mess food is actually fare enough to eat. I will not say its the best but not bad though. At 25rs you get full meals (very less rice). But the canteen have much items to eat, even the cakes, frachy etc

Yeah, seniors are very friendly and helpful in nature. Most of them are like us. Alumni are also good and they give good advice for students.

After changing into Autonomous the quality of examinations have increased. Now the Exam paper are more related to what students have been studying in semister. Even though the university paper were related to syllabus but the autonomous papers are much better then the university. Labs exams are conducted very well. They test the students knowledge of what they can do by there own.

Well faculty depends on which course you are studying. All departments have good faculties. Some students face problem in communication with there faculty. I am computer science student and i can see that faculty is fairly enough to make students understand the concepts of subjects. Still there some exceptions where faculty doesn't meet the point of students satisfaction. College does take feedback after every semester to keep the quality of education.
