The management system is of moderate type. It is a little better than expected in any of government institutions. Some process do take a lots of time but it's okay.

NEET-2016, I appeared for NEET 2016 in which my score was 557 out of 720. Basically, i am from Gujarat but i took admission from all India quota. From 9th standard i was clear to take a medical line. I am from the bhavnagar itself, and was very comfortable with the campus and other atmosphere at the college. And also you value in society is higher as a doctor so, i took MBBS over engineering.

The structure of MBBS course followed is same as any other medical college in India. It is basically 4. 5 years course with 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship. We have every type of laboratory and instruments that is basic necessity of any medical college. So, any student who is serious about work can perform good in college.

Yes, it provides compulsory internship of 1 year. Stipends are 3000 pay band type for ug. Stipends for pg are. 41000 per month The stipends are provided by Gujarat government.

There are many opportunities as we have tutor, assistant professor, associate professor post in every department. Also many students practice medicine privately. The normal range of in cime may lie between 30000-300000 per month. The basic post in the college starts with a tutor then it gradually increases and may reach upto head of department and also sometimes upto dean.

The celebration of every festivals has been just started few years back. Now, we celebrate many festivals, especially the ganesh chaturthi, navratri, christmas, uttarayan, holi, etc. We also have freshers party to welcome new students every year. We can't celebrate diwali as hostel students go to their homes during diwali.

The fee of government medical college, bhavnagar is feasible. It is a government institute so, we don't have expensive fee structure. The fees are 3000 every semester. Also, there is hostel fee of 1200 per annum. The hostel fee doesn't include food.

I personally hasen't availed any scholarship. But there are many scholarships provides by the Gujarat government. The student from sc, st, category even get the books from college. Also, eligible candidates of college get yearly scholarship of 10000.

Generally the girls in our college are more than number of boys. Out of 150 students there are approximately 80 girls and 70 boys. So, gender ratio is 7/8. The campus of our college is very small. We do rarely organised debates and other competition. We observe a no petrol day every Wednesday in which every student and faculty come to college either by cycling and walking. We also celebrate national festivals like Independence and republic day.

The hostel facility at government medical college, bhavnagar is regarded as one of the most extra-ordinary in Gujarat. The room of hostel is shared by two students. Each room is provided with a separate toilet-bathroom. The hostel has enough rooms ti meet the capacity of the students. The annual intake of our college is 150 students band there are enough rooms for them.

The college is exceptionally good about this issue. We have got very good seniors who are very helpful and co-operative. Also, it is one of the very few medical colleges in India which is free from ragging. Also, we frequently interact with senior students and get imp stuff for exams.

The exam structure is basically same as in any other medical college. We have part ending test, terminal exam and final university exam. Then also, the frequency of exam is moderate. The labs are regular and it is one of the place where we learn many new practical things. Especially, the dissection halls are very necessary to learn anatomy. The practicals where also taken on time in our college. Sometimes it's a hectic schedule but it's okay.

The faculty are of mixed type. Every faculty of our college is at least MBBS. Some of the faculty are excellent at their concept and teaching but some are poor as is generally there in any government medical college. Some of faculty are good and engaged in teaching continuously. While others don't even listen to any student. So, basically they behave as in government system.
