Apart from TAPMI, I had calls from NMIMS and KJ Somaiya. I converted all, except for NMIMS Core. I chose TAPMI because I was more inclined towards MBA Core program and TAPMI provides a plethora of opportunities for the same. I haven't availed any quota for my admissions, so don't have much information regarding that. Entrance exams like CAT/XA/GMAT is must to enter the admission process for TAPMI. Cut offs are usually around 85-88%ile. The admission process consists of different rounds: Firstly, filling up of admission form which consists of your academic, work experience, entrance tests, personal details and SOP. Followed by, call for interview upon clearing the cutoff(s). The interview process consists of GD/MGD and personal interview.

There are different courses offered like PGDM-General, PGDM BKFS, PGDM MSM, PGDM HRM. I got enrolled for PGDM General because I wanted to learn the basics of general management first and then go for electives as per my interest. The faculties here are very experienced and the classes are really informative. There are quizzes and exams in regular intervals to test students' understanding of concepts.

Some of the top recruiters for summer placements are Delloite, EY, Crisil, Gartner, JP Morgan Chase, Nestle, Outlook, Citi, Mahindra Logistics, Infosys to name a few. Roles offered by such companies are Audit intern, Sales & Marketing intern, Digital Marketing intern, Financial Analyst, etc.

For SIP, the placement process starts after a couple of months of commencement of the first year of the program. Similarly, for finals, the process starts after the commencement of 2nd year of the program. TAPMI records 100% placement, for both SIP and finals. For finals, the average package is around 11.7 LPA. For SIP, the average stipend is around 24,000 per month.

Fees for the current first year is INR 7,20,000 and for entire program (batch 2021-23) it's INR 14, 75,000. There are various merit-based scholarships and other financial aid as well. The college has a record of 100% for both SIP and final placements.

DISHA is one of the annual fests conducted at TAPMI. In this event, business leaders across all sectors visit the campus and share their valuable insights with students. There is a number of committees and clubs to chose from, which you can join to showcase your skills and/or bolster your interest in the particular area.

After the topic has been announced, the group is given a couple of minutes to think upon the topic and after that, the floor is open for discussion. Applicants put forth their points and carry out the discussion within themselves. The panel evaluates the applicants on the basis of points, initiatives, assertiveness, articulation, etc. After GD, there's a personal interview round where applicants are interviewed one on one by a panel of interviewers. The questioning revolves around the applicant's information, their motive, and some general awareness as well.
