I applied for IIT Madras on the first choice and I got admission in IIT Madras. I'm pursuing b. Tech from civil engineering. The minimum marks For admission to IIT Madras are almost above 100 marks. There are no limits for age. The admission process was simple. Just you have to give your documents in a library or any other building decide by the administration block. IIT Madras has a beautiful campus with deer's . Such a beautiful green campus
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to become a civil officer. So i choose civil engineering. We are 120 students in civil department and almost 20 faculty. All faculty members have B. Tech +M.Tech+ PhD degree. Many of faculty pass out form IIT Madras itself. We have 3 main exams. Quiz 1 , Quiz 2 and end sem exam. Paper have Normal and difficult both types questions.
Internships Opportunities
Tata motors, many coding companies, and other companies cames for giving placement and internships. If we talk about coding so in coding projects for internships we have to make websites and apps and some other sites etc. And we have some time period for this. In that time period, we have to submit our complete project.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible to take internships from 3rd semester in IIT madras. Many companies are come for Placement. The average package in 1 month in internship is 10000 rupees. And after completing degree almost 100% of students getting placements in IIT madras. After getting the B. Tech degree from civil engineering. I want to take placement .
Fees and Financial Aid
The Cost for study is almost 1 lakh every years. Ya if we talk about each semester separately so each semester 50000 cost. I applied for NSP scholarship in 1st sem and I got NSP scholarship in IIT Madras. Many of my friends got internship on this semester.
Campus Life
If we talk about the campus of IIT Madras. So I think we say like it's Awesome. There's all around green tree's and deer's. Many types of tree's in all campus. We have many fests in IIT Madras. For example Saarang, shaastra, E-sell, E-submit etc. We have largest library in IIT Madras. It had more then 10000 books. And AC,most of the students came here for study . In one classroom 80 students studying. Iitm have every sport's faculty, clubs etc. Clubs like music club, dance club, media club etc.
Hostel Facilities
I lived in Cauvery hostel. It is the oldest hostel in IIT Madras. Inn every room 2 students, if we talk about facilities they gave us 2 bedrooms, 2 tables, and 2 chairs, and 24 hours light. The quality of food is Pretty much good for me. In breakfast eggs, amulet, breads, etc. In lunch 3 or 4 types of vegetables, chapati rice, etc. For registration process of the hostel. We have a seperate hostel office. And the process of taking hostel is easy.
