I received offers from SIIB, IMT campuses. I saw GIM be the best fit for me. The admission process was carried out well planned and details were communicated well in advance, We had to take a Written ability test, extempore, and Personal interview in addition to the management entrance test. GIM doesn't have any criteria for any categories. Having said that, it does have a 5 percentile relaxation for Goan domiciled candidates. The minimum criteria to be eligible for further rounds was 98.5 percentile in CMAT, 89 in CAT, 82 in XAT. I have seen a high 600 scores in GMAT students getting the call I would recommend people who wish to join GIM be thorough in their communication and writing skills. The interview is a 15 to 20 minutes discussion.

I applied for the flagship Post graduate diploma in management course at GIM. The course boasts a batch strength of 240 students each. GIM has 75 plus full-time faculty. Usually, one can find 100 plus students opting for marketing majors in GIM. Finance majors are 50 plus and Ops and HR are 30 and 20 respectively. these are rough figures which change every year. the professors hold PhDs in their area of expertise. there are few with masters but they come with vast industry experience. The teaching pedagogy is a mix of case-based and theory. GIM follows a trimester pattern. There are quizzes, midterm, and end-term exams.

The total cost of education including the stay on the campus shall cost about 20 lakh. GIM has 40 scholarships for achievers where these students are entitled to 4 lakhs of fees waiver. About 5% of the batch can receive financial assistance based on the need.

GIM being a highly student-driven campus, you can find events throughout the year. This is a highly important facet GIM life. One shall expect to see a tangible transformation after the two years here. Cultural event Inception, Business conclave Samruddhi are the big-ticket items to look out for. The infrastructure of college is amazing. one can find all the sports amenities and over 28,000 books and journals In the library. There are 28 clubs which run the college and the activities events.

The rooms for PGP 1 are for 2 students. in PGP2, everyone gets a separate room. The hostel is clean and nit. As the cafeteria is managed by a health club - a student-driven club that looks after food, gym, pool. the food quality is good. The hostel is affordably available to all( this is a residential campus, hence no need for PG, rented room)
