Remarks
As I was a student of the 2018 batch so in that year the university take an exam known as IPU CET for B.Tech admission. The criteria of admission are based on the rank that a student gets in the exam, top rankers got the best colleges of IPU and the process continues further till the low rankers cut off. Around 2 lakh students gave the exam every year and few get admission according to their rank. Around 30000 rank was the last cut-off rank for admission in 2018. But from 2019 the admission in B.Tech is done based on JEE Main score.
Course Curriculum Overview
Every teacher is well qualified in their domain. Some of them are also Ph.D. holders. They follow different techniques for teaching the students and to make their concepts more clear. They also provide you with notes and help you to clear your doubts. They give an assignment after completing the unit to make you understand the concepts better. Most of them are very friendly with their students. They help the students and guide them in the best way possible.
Internships Opportunities
There are several companies with whom the college has tied up for the internships provided for the students. CISCO is one of them. They provide numerous internships and courses that anyone can do according to their field of interest.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are good enough. Every year most of the students got placed in good companies with a good package. Around 45% of the students get their job in the first two months of the final year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of B.Tech for 4 years is around 4.5 lakh. There is a fees hike in the 2nd year only. Scholarships are only for top rankers of the course. Placements in the college are good enough. As i am in my final year starting right now I don't have any job but I believe after 3-4 months or right after the final year completion i will have a job in my hand.
Campus Life
There are several events held in the college in a year. Some of them are Orientation program, Sports meet, Diwali Mela, Christmas Event, and many other events for particular branches of B.Tech. There is a Sports meet in which anyone can participate in any of the sport.
