Experience at GBU

First of all, you have to give an entrance exam GBU-ET for admission in Btech. The score you got in the exam provides you the branch and you have to select the branches of your own and college will make sure which branch is given to you on preferences after that counseling starts.

I have opted for this course for my convenience. The faculty members are very good and doing all the things like teaching, activities, etc. All the faculty members are PhD Or pursuing PhD. The education system overall is very good. The exams are conducted twice a semester. First one mid-semester and then End semester exams.

The campus placement of the college is good but compared to other universities it is quite low. The students who are in fourth year i.e 7sem are eligible for campus placement. Most of the companies visited such as tech Mahindra, hcl, honda, justdial, paytm, India mart, oppo, wipro etc. The highest on-campus placement is 11LPA and average is 3LPA and only 25-30% gets placements

The fees as I am pursuing Btech in IT so the fees of my batch are 52000 per sem and 104000 yearly and the fees will same for next four years. I have got Up scholarship provided by UP government who is the domicile of up and there are many conditions for who got a scholarship and who is not like parents are not government officers etc.

The abhivanjana is an annual fest for all the activities and is conducted in October and shaurayautsov for all the sports lovers is conducted in February other than that Dawat-E-Gbu is also conducted. The library of GBU is very vast and provides all the necessary books for students. Students can borrow books for 6 months from the library. The college has cricket, football, volleyball, athletics ground. Every year all the sports and other curriculum activities are performed. There are many many social groups, clubs such as techno club, Robotics club, NSS etc

The facilities provided in hostel are they give you a bed, almirah, table, chair and a good room. And every hostel have their own ground either of volleyball, badminton, basketball. In mess u get breakfast in morning, lunch in afternoon, snacks in evening and lunch in night. The meal quality is very good and the menu is listed on the walls of mess. You can simply get room in a hostel. The hostel is provided by the college and you have to only go to the hostel office then simply fill the form provided by them and they give you the room as per your choice if the room is empty and good. But the hostel is compulsory for all. If you want to rent a room outside campus then you can rent easily.
