I am glad that I could be a part of the CMRIT family as a student. It gives me immense pleasure that I could fetch a government quota seat in CMRIT as it was a golden seat to secure after my 12th as I was looking for an Engineering course in Bangalore itself so that I don't have to stay at a hostel and be a day scholar.
Course Curriculum Overview
As a Bio background student, I wanted to switch to a stream where we could observe advancement in the health field in the domain of Electronics. Also, I would wonder from my childhood, how all this communication process would happen. And hence I decided that I will go ahead with Electronics and Communication stream.Also I am really lucky to have such a great talented faculty panel at CMRIT.Every faculty here are so talented and motivates every student here, to up-bring his?her talent and showcase it.The faculties were well qualified and hence They also could put on their maximum of what they had gained knowledge.The term exams were quite simple and answerable if all the lectures were attended on a daily basis.
Internships Opportunities
Every company that visit CMRIT offer internship with a minimum of bout 20k per month and for a duration of about 6 months.And yes as a part of acadmecis our college has incorporated the task of completeing a mini projecr every semester so that they not only excel in academics but also do have practical knowledge too.
Placement Experience
Students from 6th semester onwards are eligible for placemenrs.Almost 50+ companies visit CMRIT.Average package offered is about 4LPA.And the highest package to date is 23.9LPA.Almost 70% of the total strength of the final year students get placed.My plan after Graduation is to secure a position in Government service.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is of decent one and there is no such hike of fees as such for every year.The fees remain fixed unless and until we get a hike from the government end.Since I had secured a Supernumeracy quota seat in CMRIT.My total fees were just 35-40k per year.I would also like to add that since I had performed well in my academics in 12th I would receive a scholarship amount of 10,000 every year on successful re-application.The name of the Scholarship was NSP2.0
Campus Life
Every year we would have a cultural fest named CULTURA and here great musicians or bands would be launched a day before the occasion and the mood was just indescribable. Also the CMRIT library is digitalized which favors the students and the faculty too. All the classrooms are well equipped with modern technology.All the support for the sports and co-curricular activities are easily available here.And CMRIT has many social and technical clubs too.
