Remarks
My name is selam sneh , a graduate from Bhawanipur education society college. I choose this college on the recommendation of my friend as I never explored the outside world but it came out to be the best decision of my life. Admission criteria was good , opening many seats for many students. For b.com honours, minimum marks was 45%. The admission process was soo smooth and professionally excuted. It was so well coordinated with no rush and confusion.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was according to the Calcutta University and was divided into 6 semester which provided us enough time to go through every subject. The faculties are friendly in nature and teaching methods are simple but effective . Modern technologies are at best use at this college. Exams timing were appropriate and I must confess , for me it was quite difficult to pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities
As I heard from my classmates and seniors, college provies internships but they more focuses on permanent jobs. I am not aware of the internship situation of my college, I am sorry for that . But I am sure there is plenty of opportunities provided for internships too.
Placement Experience
As I mentioned before, I didn't get the chance to placements but I am pretty sure many students have been benefitted . Our college calls best companies for placement and we can appear for these placement from second year of and course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of my course was affordable but it was expensive . I still consider the price is worth because of the growth and insight they provide us by thier extra curricular activities in each and every field. I am not much aware of scholarship and campus selection but at my last , there was pandemic but still college provided us the opportunity for campus selection through online portal.
Campus Life
This college is more known for its social life and extra curricular activities than for actual courses . Every year ,"umang" the biggest fest of colleges of kolkata is organised in my college and every college students participates . There are variaties of competition organised and this fest goes for 3 days and gets featured in news. There are many clubs for sports , education, entertainment, creativity, political, administration and much more.
