I even applied for chitkara university but I chose this because the placements here are much better. After graduation, anyone can take admission if they have scored 50% in their graduation. We can take admission on the basis of cat, mat score and we can also give umat that is conducted by iihmr. after the written exam, group discussion, and personal interview is also there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course enhances management, administrative, professional skills and provides an opportunity to work in healthcare, hospitals and it's one of a kind to provide an MBA in healthcare and hospital. The faculty focus more on practical knowledge instead of theory so that we can implement the required skills in the healthcare field. The faculties are experts in particular subjects and have more than 10 years of experience in teaching, have Ph.D.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is provided in top healthcare companies, the ministry of health and family welfare, research projects on state and national levels. We work as a trainee and learn to handle projects and come up with a solution for a smooth process and patient satisfaction.
Placement Experience
The average package offered in 2021 was 5 lakhs. Whereas highest was 15 lakhs in healthcare, and hospitals from all across the world and ministry of health, some multinational companies and family welfare at the national level and at the state level national rural health program hire students from here. The college provides 100% placements. I will like to work as an analyst in a multinational company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is 9 lakhs 60 thousand which is quite high for a middle-income family and only 15 scholarships on the first come first serve basis for students who have 85 % and above in graduation. The loan facility is available.
Campus Life
Intercollege fest is held annually. The library has all the research journals related to the healthcare field as of now all of these are available in digital plate form in form of e-books, journals, statistical databases.
Interview Experience
The topics asked in group discussion were from current affairs and for written some basic quantitative and qualitative aptitude and reading passage was required. I prepared by practicing previous year papers and solving quantitative reasoning of cat and mat.
