I had applied to MSU and got admission to MSU electrical, my category is general. The minimum mark required to get admission in an electrical branch of MSU is 3000 ACPC rank. My admission of some through ACPC application.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the electrical branch as my choice is to do electrical engineering. Our faculties are quite experienced and qualified. The ratio between students: faculty is 10:1.the qualifications of all faculty are MTech and Ph.D. The paper of all exams is medium to difficult level subjective level.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 8950 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college fee is 8950 (i.e we will in two semesters we have two installments to pay it). We got many scholarships: 1) Dsw 2)Mysy 3) digital Gujarat 4)food bill In our college placement are 100% CSE department and 70% in our department and 50% overall placement.

Campus Life

We got a friendly and disciplined environment in our college. There are 4 main events and fest in our college. 1) Prerna - a social event( Asia's largest differently-abled fest). 2) paramarsh-a non-technical fest. 3) Footprint-largest technical fest in Gujarat. 4) Junoon-a sports week and days celebration. Many different kinds of books are available related to the engineering of different departments.

There is no major problem in the curriculum regarding to the course. The curriculum covers almost all major real-world applications. But, the there is so much detailed and compulsive study on techniques that are not even used in today's time.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

Admission in this Gujarat's top university is through two exams one is GUJCET and other is via JEE MAINS as per engineering is concerned. Also it's one of the best university you can get into.
