A GUIDE TO DME COLLEGE

I had applied for DME college of IP university and I got admission here. I haven't applied for any quota. For BBA it is mandatory to pass from CBSE/ICSE or any board equivalent with English as one of the subjects and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Age could be 18,17, or 19 but it is a must to pass board exam of class 12th. There was a mandatory entrance exam for BBA in GGSIPU university and I chose DME in preference on the basis of my entrance exams and then I got admission.

I chose BBA because I had an interest in business administration and it has a wide scope in the future. The faculty is very well most of the teachers have done Ph.D. in their subjects and the way they teach is also very understandable. The student ratio is almost 50 students in every class. A feedback form is also circulated so that students can review if they like the faculty or not. Teachers are very supportive and even in online classes, they make sure their students understand everything. Termly exams are held after every 3month there are also internal exams.

There is a placement cell in my college that helps the students to get internships at the best places. All the internships start from the 2nd year. I am currently in my second year so I don't know more about the stipend base internship which the college or company offers.

From 2nd year students get internship opportunities and from the third year, they get campus placement opportunities. Companies that visit DME are LAKME, BOLO INDIA, WIPRO, Tripadvisor, and many more. 50 to 60% of students get recruited with a good package. Top roles the companies offer is digital marketing, content writing, human resource, sales marketing, etc. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue my MBA.

The yearly fee structure for BBA is 97,178rs. College provides financial help to the students who can not pay the whole fee together or the students who have lost the bread earner of their families in covid. College also gives scholarship to students who are top in studies or those who lost their family member in covid.

There are many fests and events are organized by the college annually. Goonj is one of the fests which is organized yearly. The Library of this college is very spacious and the availability of books is also good. There are a lot of extracurricular in which students participate and there are also separate societies for each like music society, dance society, merarki for mental health, fashion society, and so on. There are also few clubs that are run by students like TEAM CATALYST for event organizing, Finance club, human resource club, marketing management club and etc.
