I'd applied for IIMs but I couldn't convert to any of the colleges that I targeted because of my weak overall profile. For my profile and percentile, this was the best fit. Extemporaneous round , wat, and personal interview. The admission process was quite smooth,it was well conducted.
Course Curriculum Overview
We often have class quizzes and assignments to constantly evaluate us. There's a mid-term exam as well as end term. Exams are difficult to pass if the concepts aren't clear to you memorizing things won't help, understanding the whole concept is vital.
Internships Opportunities
Every year 50+ companies visit campus to offer summer internships and placement. Companies like collegedunia, Accenture, Infosys, Deloitte , GEP etc. The highest stipend was 1.7 L last year and with a 98% of placement offer.
Placement Experience
We needed to be fully vaccinated to enter campus. Accenture, Aditya Birla capital areteans, artesian. Highest CTC of 25.6lpa and an average of 10.71 LPA. The college has managed to get all students placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
I took out a loan of 16L to fund my education. There are few scholarships available to use here. There's been a slight hike in the fee structure I believe, as one of the top bschools in the country the fee is on the higher side.
Campus Life
Gim has 28 clubs and societies focusing on almost every relevant category out there. The library is equipped with a limited quantity of books, and the college has affiliated with an ebook library website as well. There's a pool, gymnasium, badminton court, basketball, tennis and football field.
Hostel Facilities
There water purifier, washing machine, and a dryer. The food in the hostel is good enough, I'm personally not very picky when it comes to food. The process to register for a hostel is fairly easy. The canteen fee is fairly affordable, the hostel fee is priced fairly.
