Remarks

The only cons I found at Amity is very high Fees To end, I am not a gold medalist of my batch or I would say I am never been into studies at all. I enjoyed my bachelor's life a lot. When I appeared for AIEEE in 2014, I got 3,12,827 rank. I am not able to get any government university even getting to VIT, BITS, SRM is out of the question. I landed at a good job in NIIT Technologies through campus placement and now I am studying in the world top 100 universities doing my masters. Also, I know my batchmates who have backlogs during bachelors, low CGPA but studying in Ireland, France and US. Till now I haven't met an Indian who doesn't know about Amity but I know many of batchmates whose college name many of us have never heard of. I have never regretted studying in Amity because five years back I have never even thought of studying abroad sersui peple don't get mad at me for this answer. Money is the system. Every problem has one solution - money. Every penalty - money. It's like a money.

Course Curriculum Overview

75 percent attendance compulsory. Bunk more than 4 classes and computer automated system will fail you in that subject. 2. Study abroad programmes for more than 6 countries are always there each time in internship 3. Multiple placement cells with student getting 7 l package just after graduation. I did mechanical engineering and i was having a core job at the end. Getting a core job IS A BIG DEAL now a days.(Didn't go there though :-P) 4. So many guest lectures and events that every day you'll see a notice coming through you. You don't wanna learn than no-one can help you 6. Dedicated 24 hours incubator for entrepreneurship and trust me many companies started there and many more in the process. ( worked there, amazing people ) 7. Amazing crowd with amazing events. From international artists to local bands. you'll see everything in the fest 8. Students good and bad are always there but rest assured you are a good student you'll achieve success.

Internships Opportunities

Amity University Gurugram is a good place for higher studies. Well qualified faculty members, worldclass infrastructure, ICT enabled classroom and laboratories facilities, clean/green campus equipped with sports facilities make it a good choice to pursue this programme. After PG, if interested one can also join for a PhD course. Candidates who want to pursue a career in teaching and research field can attempt for CSIR-NET-JRF, GATE, IISc, BARC exams. Amity University Gurgram is well known to deliver this course and its placement cell brings best opportunites from leading companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is an entrance exam or interview(dependong the upon the course which you opt for) for the university in which 95% of the students pass, as it is not that tough. If someone has required money he or she can get Admission through Sponsored candidate, who pay some 70–80% more fee than non- sponsored category candidate. Since purging is not done in a stringent manner. This makes college crowd vulnerable to non deserving candidates. As its a private university the fee for certain courses might burn a hole in many people's pocket. Many students come from affluent or opluent family they smoke, take drugs, disrespect teacher and all. To be candid these things are present in every college, but dont know why Amity name is tarnished always. The complusory Foreign Business Language( FBL) sometimes put unwanted onus on the students. Hope my answer will help you extrapolate whether “Amity” is a good college or not. Feel free to ask if you have any further doubt.

Campus Life

Both Amity and Chandigarh University are esteemed institutions of the country. However, in terms of comparison Chandigarh University is more accomplished one. First of all, let’s compare the NAAC Accreditation of both the universities. Chandigarh University is NAAC A+ grade while Amity is NAAC A grade accredited. Further, Chandigarh University has a very advanced curriculum and is at par with international demands. It offers numerous programmes with many specializationsin a single trade as well. Apart from the Sciences, CU offers over 120 programmes with chance to earn scholarships as well. While the scholarships can be availed up to 100%, depending upon your performance, the University’s placement drive and internships are amazing too. Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was quite comprehensive and relevant. They covered all the fields of life sciences in depth- molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology (RDT), microbiology, biostatistics, instrumentation, and immunology, among others. The combination of both foundational and applied topics was the whole reason I chose the course at SVSU. In terms of preparationfor the real world applications, the curriculum does a great job in building clarity and founding strong concepts. For students aiming to prepare for GATE, NET, and higher research projects to delve into, the syllabus provides a strong foundation. Regarding improvements, the lab work could be more one-on-one rather than a bulk implementation, and more hands-on experience needs to be added to the course in comparison to the theoretical knowledge. Speaking of the examination pattern, it works in semesters, with the first one occurring in December, then around April, and the last one around June-July. Other than that, there are internal tests held bimonthly and project submissions before the examination session.
