Review of DY Patil School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies

Getting admission in this college for BSc in Hospitality and tourism studies is pretty easy, I went to the college the concerned department guided me through the procedure and my admission was confirmed after I paid 1 st part of the fees, I applied for Atharva college as well bu my admission first was confirmed here so i sticked to dy Patil, minimum marks required to get admission was 45% so its easy to get admission into its college. on the counseling day, all students were gathered at the auditorium and a proper introduction of teachers was given also they shared the rules and regulations and how the campus life will be in the college. there are a total 6 semesters i.e. for years

hotel management is the course for the students who like to interact with new people as this industry is exposed to treat and maintain relations with new clients every day. faculty at college are very helpful and are there for students whenever they need, all the faculty are highly qualified with years of experience of the industry, theoretical and practical classes are very interesting and the faculties make it easy to understand, also if not get in one go, faculties will explain you until you get the topic. there are 4 class test and then final exam in each semester in total there are 6 semesters out of which the 6th sem is all bout internship and rest 5 are based on theoretical and practical exams

Internships are offered at many 5 star hotels from all over India according to student preference college arranges interviews for all the students as per their convenience and one can easily get placed,

The college looks after placement currently I am in 5th sem and hotels have started coming in the college for internship placements, the concerned faculty helps students to get prepared for the interview and make sure that deserving students get placed for it, most of the 3-5 star hotels come to college from all over India.

fees for 3 years goes up to 5 lakhs which includes uniform and tool kit price, examination fees, enrollment fees, tuition fees, and practical fees when bifurcated each semester fees is 75k plus 2k for examination fees, in which in first sem students are charged 2k for enrollment fees and 20k for uniform and toolkit

there are many traditional fests arranged for students where one can enjoy their college at fullest, library is equipped with good amount of books which will help students in their academics, class rooms are equipped with modern-day, technology where faculties can easily explain chapters to students via ppts and many more exciting, the classroom environment is engaging and motivates one to study, college has its own stadium, swimming pool and health club, where students can participate and excel in the co curricular activities.
