Amar Kumar's Review On MIT School Of Management - [MIT-SOM], Pune

Campus life is pretty hectic, with lectures from 9 A.M. till 6. The climb also adds up to the already hectic life. Rest all are good in term of study there.

MITSOM entrance exam for MIT School of Management Post Graduate Management Program course. Written test & interview conducted for me. Now the selection process is as below: Eligibility for admission: Graduate from UGC recognised University with atleast 50% marks. Students awaiting final year graduation results can apply.

Course structure is good and it's included all the management syllabus. First year is clubbed with all the stream and second year with specific stream.

There are many company visiting to college campus into regular basis, and company is also conducting various camp & guest lecture. Company like TCS, Indiabulls, Bajaj Finance, BNY, Delloit, Capgemini, Mercedes Benz, Syntel, HCL, TCI, Coca Cola, BATA and many more. The average package they are offering is 4-5 lac pa.

List of Festivals are-1. Spandan is the most active student media body and is open to articles from all students in the campus. 2. The literary/arts event of MITCOE is called MIT CREON, which includes competitions, workshops and seminars. 3. MITCOE regularly takes part in an international robotics event called ROBOCON hosted by MIT in association with Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU).4. The cultural body of MITCOE is called Aarohan.5. Gracia is the name of the annual social and cultural gathering of the college.

I have paid the entire amount term wise into 6 monthts internal and didn't take study loan. However MIT provide bank loan facility, one of my friend has already taken that.

MAEER's MIT Pune campus is a true e-campus with a total of 400 computers connected with fiber-optic backbone networks and server-client technology. The e-campus comprises of a state-of-art Internet Centre, which remains open for 24 hours and has been connected with a 4MBPS leased line through ERNET which facilitates high-speed Internet Access and uninterrupted connectivity throughout the campus. MIT Pune has successfully organized several sports tournaments including Inter-Engineering Athletic Meet, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis tournaments, Zonal level Boxing, Badminton, Chess tournaments and Inter-Professional College Volley ball, Basketball tournaments, and so on.

The Alumni network is really very good. The Alumni Association conducts various programmes like recognizing professional and social achievements of fellow MITians through the presentation award of "Jewels of MIT", organizing interaction session with sponsoring technical events, facilitating placements mentoring, career guidance etc.

The faculty at MIT, are senior and certainly very experienced. They speak in fluent English, and teach their respective subjects well.
