Remarks

No quota availed. Applied to many colleges but the course of choice/cut-offs. Minimum marks 85 percentile CAT for the course I chose for my post-graduation at Tapmi The admission process was okay and was not too tedious although the online mode of admission is a little difficult and we often face digital glitches

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Marketing is my field of interest and hence I decided to take up this course as my major. We are a class of 40 students and around 9 of which are girls, in terms of gender ratio. The faculty is extremely educated and good at what they do. We have a lot of guest lectures too so thats nice.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

We are still in the initial days of our college and do not have in-depth knowledge about what kind of companies for placements and internships. They differ every year and may not replicate the processes from last year. But firms offer job roles in all criteria - marketing, operations, finance, HR, etc

Placement Experience

4

We are in the first month of collrge and companies have already started showing up for internships which is a good sign. Hopefully, there are more & more and better firns coming soon. My plans after degree is to work as a marketeer

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost can be substantially reduced since the mode of education has changed to a digital setup and students are not getting physical copies of books or access to infrastructure. So to sum it up- it's a costly course. There are multiple scholarships available (but all academic-based )

Campus Life

2.5

We are studying in an online setup. We get the links on time and lectures end by 6 Maxx, we do have other lectures post that (guests). There are about 28 clubs and committees available which is awesome

Hostel Facilities

1.5

It is mandatory for us to avail hostel facilities for both years of our b-school life. We have not yet been to the campus so cannot compare it to anything . Hopefully, we don't pay full fees for the hostel considering ee sre studying from home

Interview Experience

3.5

I don't recall but mostly current affairs on the lines of use of social media , farmers protest etc Mostly GD followed by PI where they refer to the resume and ask for my reason to do an mba, career goals etc. I prepped using sample videos & reading my CV thoroughly & being updated on current affairs

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
