TAPMI Review

I applied but didn't get selected for KJ Somaiya/ Great lakes/IIMs But selected in Tapmi. I didn't get any quota for admission. For PGDM-MKT in Tapmi, the minimum criteria were to have a score of 85%ile in CAT. then we had a GD and one round of interviews.

After doing BBA and getting acquainted with marketing, it was pretty clear to me that I'll be doing PGDM in the marketing domain. Since it's been exactly one month since joining this B-school, I can vouch for the deep knowledge that each faculty has in their fields and the classes are very interactive. We haven't still got to give our term exams but yes quizzes were held for basic courses, TAPMI is strict in timings from that perspective and it was not much difficult to pass.

Titan, Deloitte, Amul, etc and majority offers summer intern, cyber risk services, sales, and marketing intern, sales account manager, sales intern, etc. as these companies mainly have B2B model, Project includes dealing with clients of good position and handling their queries, resolving them.

From the 4th semester, students become eligible for placements. various companies come on campus like Deloitte, Amul, Titan, etc, and the majority offer summer interns, management trainees, digital marketing, etc profiles. The highest package for PGDM core is 25+ lakhs and the lowest is 10 lakhs. Tapmi has a record of 100% placements. My plan is to get placed and work with MNCs.

The total fees for two years are approx 18 lakhs and there are various scholarships offered by Tapmi to its deserving candidate's basis on cat scores, there is dean roll of honor award where 30% fees are waived. There are various Live projects opportunities coming, even with a stipend.

There are various fests that are conducted in Tapmi, along with the festival celebrations. As everything is still online, I don't got chance to visit the campus but yes during the induction program they told us about library timing, etc which is quite flexible. Tapmi also has a book club. There are various sports amenities available that include outdoor as well as indoor. Samnidhy is a student-managed fund that is run by students for the students of Tapmi, where the money students are invested by samnidhy.

Yes, there was minimum cat score selection, group discussion, and interview. GD's topic was OTT platforms, which was a hot topic at that time. Interview questions were more behavioral. I prepared everything on my own, right from test to interview.
