Remarks

I applied to three universities: 1)GBU, Greater Noida 2)Delhi University 3) DCRUST, Sonipat But I was selected in GBU and I myself preferred this University because of the location and infrastructure. My admission was through online counseling and the day when I registered myself, I was selected. Though I didn't avail any quota for admission because I think that talent cannot be judged because of quota. Talking about admission criteria, there was no such thing as just passing out XII class. The admission process was good at all. I hardly faced any issue.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The reson of selecting BSc Chemistry Hons was my keen interest in Chemistry.. I would like to pursue my MSc from Organic Chemistry. Also I scored 95 out of 100 in XII Boards. Faculty is well supporting. Teachers focus on each and every student and tries to make each and every concept clear in reality. And all teachers are PhD in their field, means their qualifications cannot be doubted. Teaching method, as all know, is online. So it is satisfactory for me. And talking about tests and assignments, I think I loved the way they assess their students. We were all given assignments after every unit is completed. There are mid-sem exams as well. And finally, we are judged in End-Sem exams. And exams were not that much difficult to pass because assignments already gave us an idea of what and how the questions will be asked.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I am not interested in internships but many research projects are Handled by the teachers. Even the teachers too are enrolled in the research programs for the benefit of students. Guidance of teachers is really helpful and I think the university has collaborated with some foreign universities as well.

Placement Experience

3.5

I am not aware of placements because I am a II Year student. But for Btech students, a good opportunity for placement is provided. A separate Corporate Relations Cell has been established for this purpose only and collaboration with industries present in Noida. So overall I think placements will not be a point to worry about.

Fees and Financial Aid

GBU is a state university, so fees are not that high. Even the hostel and mess fee is affordable. But I have not availed of any scholarship. As am just a student so not the job at all right now. No financial assistance was received as well.

Campus Life

5

GBU, I think is a huge university and is accommodated with world-class infrastructure. All facilities are provided on campus only as it is a residential university. Due to the COVID situation, online classes are going on, I cannot say about all other things but the campus is green and peaceful along with a meditation center. Also, many festivals and events are organized from time to time. Abhiyanjana is the famous one.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility is superb. I was fortunate to visit my hostel for some 25-30 days but we're sent back due to rising cases of the second wave. A meal in mess is properly scheduled and it is tasty as well. Registration for hostel takes place when you are given an admission letter and it is affordable as well. I think 70000 per year is not that high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
