Should consider DELHI TECHNICAL CAMPUS

Guru Gobind Indraprastha University offers a 4 year long Btech course for which the minimum eligibility is 55% marks in aggregate from a well recognized organization and the admission is primarily entrance-based and follows specific admission criteria. Students are also selected based on JEE / JEE Mains marks and other national level tests conducted by various authorities. However, amid the covid-19 outbreak, the admission process got delayed. this year, IPU has announced a sanctioned intake of 85% for Delhi region candidates, while the remaining 15% seats are reserved for candidates belonging outside Delhi. I applied to a lot of colleges but did not like the environment so eventually decided to go to Delhi Technical Campus. I did not avail any quota and got in by my IPU rank. IPU has a very smooth admission process. They also conduct counselling programs. it involves five important steps - submitting the application fee, registration, choice filling, seat allotment and freezing it.

I have taken B.tech in Electronics and communication engineering because it has more job opportunities. Every teacher is well qualified in their domain. Most of them are PhD holders. They follow different techniques for teaching the students and to make their concepts more clear. They also provide you with notes and do their best to clear your doubts. they give regular assignments and take small tests on online platforms to revise concepts on weekly basis. Most of them are very friendly and helpful and will guide you to do the right. However, during this covid 19 phase, the teaching methods have changed but the faculty members are trying their best to provide the easiest and useful teaching method and platform. In DTC, they provide us with recorded video lectures, handwritten notes, PDFs of books and other types of study material for our convenience. they are taking extra efforts to educate us which is great.

Our college faculties offer to provide many internship opportunities from their side, personally and professionally. They mail us opportunities in marketing, junior engineer, social media marketing, sales and in many other domains so that students can get different kinds of experiences from different opportunities. They also guide and help you in every situation possible. the stipend of marketing internships ranges from 1to 5k and the proper field related internship's stipend range from 3 to 10k. They also ask us to do freelancing along with studying to make us a little independent.

In terms of placement, the institute has divided and developed a medley of resources to achieve great placement for its students. hence the students are both trained and tested over a long period which enhances their skills, personality and confidence and opens them to multiple opportunities. Students are placed with big companies like Infosys, HCL, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, cognizant, etc. 40 to 45% of students get placed every academic year. the students become eligible for job opportunities and placement in their 4th year. students with great scores are placed very quickly.

The fees structure is 1.17 lakhs per annum which includes 2 semesters. They also provide scholarship opportunities to the students scoring good marks in the there final exams. they also provide financial assistance in which they allow some students to pay their fees within a specified amount of days. There was a hike in the fees during this situation of covid-19 which was a bit to much for some of us to pay.

They provide an intellectually stimulating environment for academic excellence with sense of social responsibilty. they have a great infrastructure with well-ventilated classrooms, a huge library with full air-conditioned and wifi enabled world class learninmg environment. They also provide hostel, mess, canteen and transpotation facilities to make things easier for the students. other than pumping iron in there well equiped gyms, students can play football, valley ball , basket ball, batminton , table tenis , cricket , carrom and chess, etc. Dtc also has many social groups and socities like technical , cultural, sports , dance, SATKAAR- hospitality activity club , etc.

During the admission process,, there are two rounds of counselling followed by a special and spot round. After that, the students have to go there respective colleges where they have to submit their fees and a small interview is taken wherein they ask why did you choose this course and field. There is no personal tests taken by the colleges other than the IPU entrance exam. I just prepared for the main test. for the interview,, they ask you basic questions that aren't very difficult to answer.
