Ashish Singhal's Review On RD Engineering College, Ghaziabad

UPTECH, Score- 66, I choose this college because of its better known education and placement services.

Course structure was provided by UPTU at the initial stage of studies. Some of the help books provided by college library for which we pay some security amount to them, All useful books we procured from outside stationery to perform better in semester exams.

Some of the fake companies provided internship. All these companies charged students on the name of labs, books, etc. These companies collect money from students and pay some amount to Sanjeev Sharma. He had some links with all these fake companies.

Placement all depend on the mood of Sanjeev Sharma. He always asked some money on the name of placement. In my case he asked me INR 30000 for placement in UTBS Noida. They were providing me salary of INR 12000.00 per month. Next day college published my name in newspapers with the placement at the package of 3.6 lacs p.a.

College organised some events every year but with the help of collection from every student. If you have to participate in any event then you have to pay some amount. Sports Meet, fresher party, annual fest and farewell parties organised every year. A committee of students was organised all the events. Members of this committee changes every year. Mostly final year and 3rd year students are the members of the committee

For a middle class family, its feasible. They charged around 1.25 lac a year which includes tuition fees, exam fess, library charges, one time uniform charges. Hostel and any other charges are not included in this. They provided scholarship also but again you have to bribe the concern person to get the scholarship amount.

So, if you are in SC, ST category then govt will pay you full amount of tuition fee. But you have bribe some amount.

Although i was not the part of hostel, but i stayed there sometime if needed. Hostels rooms are in average conditions. One rooms is shared by 2 students. Gym is also available in hostel block. A combine mess is also available for both Boys and Girls. Hostel block for boys and girls are seperate.

Exam structure is of UPTU. 2 semesters a year. All as per standards of UPTU. External-Internal Vivas, Internal exams, semester exams. Semester exams was held at some other colleges which was decided by UPTU. Condition of some of the lab was very worst, no proper equipment are available to enhance our knowledge.

I contact the Reception for the admission and after that I fulfilled all the required criteria of them. They selected me through management quota because my performance in 12th was very good. I was a good interest in science, so Mr. Rakesh Sharma chairman of college easily opted me for admission.

Some of the faculties at my time was very good and some was average. At the time of joining HOD of Electronics branch was Mr. AK Singh. He is a great personality having PhD and lots of patents. But due to some internal politics he had to leave the college. Some more names i would like to add are Mr. Mohit Singh an Mr. Prabash Singh. Both of them are having great skills of electronics.
