Entrance Preview

I had taken EAMCET entrance exam. I have heard many good reviews about the college. My sisters friend Harsha, was already a student of that college. He confirmed the reviews were absolutely true and asked me to join. He had his friends who were placed in reputed MNC's when they were in their last year that is 4th year through campus placements in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure was pretty much well planned, Except one or two all the lectures were highly qualified and provided assistance when required. The Labs were well equipped and there were lab assistants too. Both the theory and practicals were very well taken care off. In the fourth year where we had electives option, our college provided training for students on those subjects too.

Internships Opportunities

I have completed my engineering in 2010 year. In the fourth year we had to do a project. Our college helped us in referring us to companies where we kind off learnt technologies and worked on our major project. We were not paid anything but we were thought on how to build a code or project and guidance until we completed our project. Our college had given us list of companies were we could pursue our internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

When we were pursuing our second year, we had many reputed companies visiting our college and hiring students. When we were about to finish our engineering that is in 4th year, the software market was not so good. However, we had some small companies visiting our college. Also, we were informed about all the interviews happening in different companies and our college sent the students for Walk-ins.

College Events

5

The college had technical and cultural fests organised every year. Whole of the college participates in the fests. Talking about technical fests, we had various competitions being held like robotics, technology, power point presentations, paper presentations, cardboard presentations etc. In the cultural fests we had dancing, singing , movie making, skit competitions. We had a very huge stage built for the fest.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not received any scholarship from the college or never taken any loan from the college. I do not have any information about the scholarships or loan facilities offered by our college since I do not have any of my friends who availed these. I'm aware that students can take study loan to pay the college fee and for courses that they want to pursue outside the college. I never had or heard of anyone using this facility.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is amazing, The gender ratio, boys were much in number when compared to the girls. our class strength was 60 out of which 20 were girls and 40 were boys. We had different committees in college for benefit of students. We had anti ragging committee which I was part of, we ensure there is no ragging done on the juniors, a technical committee, cultural troops, music bands, Drama and theatre group.

Hostel Facilities

5

Our college does not have any hostel facilities. It offers various courses and has various building or blocks for different kind of education. We had Engineering students, Architecture students, pharmacy students. We had hostels nearby college withing 2 kilometers which are pretty good and the food offered there is good. Our college has a very good and huge canteen. The food cooked is very hygenic and tasty.

Alumni/Alumna

I have registered myself to receive Alumni updates but got only few of them. I just could interact with seniors whom I had made friends with. otherwise through college alumni network I could not find any help. I just got emails regarding college fest happening and the pass to attend it. Recently I have noticed a alumni group being created on facebook. I see pictures and events being posted there regularly.

Exam Structure

The exam structure followed the JNTU norms. We had internals, externals of theory and internal and external lab exams. The exams had gap in between giving ample time for the students to prepare. Even for the records we were given enough time to complete. All the time we had supportive lecturers and Lab assistance. So nothing was hectic as such. No extra exams were conducted apart from internals and externals. Even during the mini and major project submissions we were informed pretty much well with the dates and time, so that no student misses out on submissions. The home work that used to be given by lecturers was pretty decent and not excessive.

Admission

I've written EAMCET entrance exam and after which I had attended counselling. In the counselling this was one of the college I had to pick from the list. Unfortunately I was not getting computer science seat. I wanted to pursue B.tech computer science engineering. Only EEE and mechanical seats were available. I did not pick any college from the first counselling.
