Remarks
I only applied to 2 colleges St Thomas college and st Alosius College. The admission process at st Thomas college includes filling of application form in which our personal details and 12th mark details etc is required. After that I also applied for community quota and management quota. The minimum percentage required for the management quota was 90 % and it is only for Christian boys. After getting admission we we had a orientation class and wet were asked to meet Head of the Department. This was the admission process held at ST Thomas college
Course Curriculum Overview
I was a commerce student and for commerce students, B. Com is one of the best degree courses available. So I decided to select B. Com. The faculties of our college is well educated and qualified. It helped me to improve my curiculam. We will be having 2-semester exam in one year and it will be at the right time say November and March. Exams conducted is moderate level and pass percentage is high.
Internships Opportunities
Because of the covid situation we students are doing online internships. It helped us very much. Paid internships include a stipend. Every student has to do projects in their final semester. It will be based on their respective courses. It helps them to gain deep knowledge in their respective course. Online internships help the students to get practice working while studying.
Placement Experience
Form 6th semester oru campus placement drives starts. Every students can take part in placements. Companies like TCS, infosys, Wipro, cognizant, EY, delolite, bijus etc are involved in placement. Salary packages starts from around 1.5 laks to 10 laks. Around 25% of students are placed. After getting degree I like to do CMA
Fees and Financial Aid
Oru college is Aided college, so comparing to other colleges fees is very low. We only need to pay fees once In a year which will be around 3250. Our college is one of the top college that acquired the milestone of 250+ placements in a year. Our students were placed in top companies.
Campus Life
Our college conducts annual fest every year. It will held in our college during January. Oru library is one of the best library in our city. It is very useful to everyone. Classrooms include smar class which is an advantage for our studies. We have different clubs in our college ED, cookery, tourism, adventure etc. Around 20 clubs are functioning in our college. We also have sports and other activities
