Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. And i scored all AIR 132 and choose my dream branch Electronics and communication in RVSCET , Jamshedpur.

It is detailed and focused . Infrastructure is really good . Labs are properly equipped . The course makes you groomed for market and it has all the topics properly covered . But practical approach is missing . Being a student makes it tough to understand why we are studying a particular subject/topic at that time .

Yes , it provide internship to few meritorious students in nearby companies like tata motors and others but number is too few. Those belonging to ST/SC reservation quota get state stipend and they enjoy the luxury of almost free engineering . Overall experience is mixed , not that good nor too bad .

Placement is not up to the mark . Situated in industrial city Jamshedpur it is expected to provide good opportunity for students but nothing much is taken care , except few industrial training . Companies which make a visit are mostly non technical profile so getting placed is not really worth.

Its a celebration throughout the year , Cultural department is very active. Apart from regular Annual day , freshers day , Farewell celebration there were any other events celebrated like some tech fest , seminars of social awareness . Festivals like Saraswati puja and Vishwakarma Puja also used to get celebrated .

I availed education loan which easily got sanctioned . College is having some tie up with banks for pre approved loan .

Campus life is great , but if you stay in college hostel then its like hell. Lots of rules and regulation and strict discipline . Gender ratio boys:girls is 60:40 . College is making sure that students actively participate in extracurricular activities and become open about their views. It helps students to become vocal in a big way and helps them in long run .

Exams were very hectic and used to leave us drenched . Sometime we used to have exams and classes in parallel so those days used to very tough . Sometime mid semester sometime university exams . University exams used to have some external exam centre so it was travelling also.

It was a joint engineering entrance exam in which i got AIR 132 and got admission to RVSCET in ECE stream through free seat quota . A counselling took place in Ranchi University campus , Ranchi . All the Engineering colleges of Jharkhand were enlisted in JCECEB and based on merit we were given the option to choose our favourite college/stream.

Faculties are experienced and met the industry standards. The teaching methodologies are detailed and proper care is taken for each student . Minimum qualification of teachers are M.tech and they are well versed . They are very friendly and cooperative . Lab assistants are having good expertise of dealing with devices and equipment.
