A STEP TO YOUR DREAM

I have applied three autonomous colleges and 5 government college under University of Calicut.Ibwas included in the first allotment list of St Thomas college.So I decided to join this college.This was my dream college.My index mark was1232 and I got seat in B.com in general merit.The admissiom was held on 7th June ,2019 at 9 a.m.Admission process was very punctual and simple.Students needed to bring SSLC original mark list and Higher secondary mark list.At the entrance a form was provided to the students and they had to fill that.Admission panel will call out the names of the students who were selected and the students have to submit their documents.After the verification students were allowded to go to their classes with their parents. In the classroom there were 3 faculties .They provided us with basic information.

B.com is a course that has more job opportunities. So I selected this course. The faculties are highly qualified and resourceful. They use modern techniques of teaching such as PPT,PDF, Audio and video presentations, and projectors. This helps the students to understand their topic Thoroughly.

Coursera certification is ensured for every student. Students can get their certificate after completing courses at Coursera without any registration fees. Internshala is also helping the students with both paid and unpaid internships.

Sixth-semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a cell called placement cell which coordinates the placement activities of the college. Faculties in this cell train and participate students in placement activities. popular companies like BYJUS, SBI, FEDERAL BANK,LIC etc are continuously recruiting from our college.I am also trying for placed in campus recruitment.

Fees structure of B.com 6340 for General 6365 for General R C 4320 for FC 1260 for SC/ST Students can apply for any scholarship.Most of them avail E Grants scholarship.The students who avail of this scholarship can get reimbursement of their annual fees.Cost of study is comparatively low at this college.

Campus life is very much enjoyable.Apart from studies there are lots of extra curricular activities.There are about twenty clubs in our college.Students can join the club which one they like.They can showcase their talents at the events conducted by these clubs.Cooking club,Entrepreneurial development club, Arts and Sports club are some of them.College organize many events to entertain students.College day is a festival for the students.Classrooms are gery neat and tidy.Proper ventilation is ensured.
