St Thomas college Autonomous Thrissur is one of the best in Kerala with a NIRF Ranking of 63 among all the colleges in India. The admission procedures here in St Thomas are quite liberal and smooth. The authorities always make sure that the students are updated with their admission procedures and almost every student are content with their services. The amazing thing about St Thomas is that they managed to provide placement opportunities to around 300 students from various streams. They conduct the exams daily without any delay given their Autonomous status. The college make sure that thier students can enjoy both their academic and campus life in a balanced manner.The college has one of the biggest Library in Thrissur with splendid collection of books. I must mention the quality of the teaching staff in our college.They are just WOW. Our dear class teacher is more like a mother towards us.We enjoy the status and perks of being part of this prestigious institution.

I chose B.com with a specialization in Finance because I'm really curious about the Share markets .The college have spectacular band of teachers(almost everyone holding a doctorate in their respective fields).

The Students can Individually can choose where the want to do their internships. I myself completed more than 4 internships in the begining of the summer and yet more to go. Every student will be given a project guide and they can avail themselves all possible helps from their guides.

Students who gain eligibility to final year, precisely speaking the third year, they are eligible for placement programmes. Companies like wipro, Infosys, Ernst and young, Baijus, and banks like South Indian Bank , Federal bank, Catholic Syrian Bank etc visit our college for placements. I must mention that South Indian Bank recruited around 62 students alone from our college which is the highest in all over India during their mass recruitment program.

The fees in St Thomas college is the most economical considering others. They don't accept donations neither charge heavy fees on their students. All students can avail themselves of one of the best scholarships available. I'm getting a sum of 10000 per year under the Central sector scholarship scheme.

As I mentioned earlier the college has one of the best libraries and even Malayalam movie was shot in there(Queen). Sports and arts are its central point when it comes to extra-curricular activities. St Thomas college have continuously won the Dzone cup for arts. I'm a part of the Entrepreneurs Development club which hosts spectacular events for their students. There is a cookery club, Drama club, martial arts club, and many more....
