Shitha E S's Review On St Thomas' College, Thrissur

I am shitha E S currently pursuing graduation and bcom at St Thomas college Autonomous Thrissur, Firstly I place an application for admission at St Thomas college and I prefer the same also. Then I gave St Aloysius college when I got admission to St Thomas I prefer that. And I availed sc quota for admission. I think it's above 85 percent required for the selection. The admission is tension-free personally because the teachers are treated me helpful and friendly manner.

I choose this course because I am interested in the banking and finance sector. The college has the necessary faculties for managing each section. Most of the faculties take PhD in respective subject and they are well educated also. Except for some online limitations, I can manage classes. The semester was done accurate and timely manner even in this pandemic situation. The difficulty of passing exams depends upon every student,personally, I clear all the exams till this semester

Recently the college provides coursera certificate courses for free. Time Institute offers coaching for professional courses combining with college. ASAP which provides ample opportunities like communication skills, self help programs. The entrepreneurship cluster gave classes and webinars.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for placements. Many companies offered placements to college like Federal bank, CSB, Byjus, etc 10 lakh per annum offered by ByJus App. Currently, 50 percentage got placed. Prefer placement in college. Think to go for studying professional course (Cost and Management Accountant) while working. otherwise to prepare for writing bank and PSC exams,

I got e grants and also got refunding option from the college because of including in scheduled caste.The college offers a Coursera certificate program for their students with out fees and also conducting a program called Flame up which provides crash coaching for PSC banking exams with much less fee.

There are various clubs in college like cookery club ,music club, dance and Ed club etc all these are run by students and guided by teachers. The students conducts programs, competition on special events, and also have eastern bands which also run by singers. Many fest are also we have like touro fest, fine art .. Then celebration.
