The admission process was very simple and well arranged. It felt very easy to join this college as the entire admission team in charge was perfect. Every selected student got admitted without any lack of time and it was a very speedy procedure. I have applied to Christ college Irinjalakuda, St.joseph college, Irinjalakuda, and Sree Kerala Varma College. I got admission to all these colleges but l loved to join st. Thomas. It was my dream college and the faculties here are perfect and very friendly. I love the atmosphere of my college than others. I got admitted according to my marks as a merit candidate. So I haven't applied for any quotas. Admission criteria are just perfect. For a merit seat, a student has to get at least 97% in the b.com program as it is the cut-off. And minimum age is 18. The admission process is perfect without any lapse of time. After getting admission we can meet the HOD and listen to his words individually. And also we can get to know the entire department details on the same day.

Faculty members are very encouraging and friendly. I wanted to become a chartered accountant. That is the main reason I chose this course. And I loved to work in a business environment. Faculty members are around 10 in our department. And almost 300 students are there. The minimum qualification is M.com and our faculties are mostly Ph.D. graduates. Their teaching method is good for all students. They use ppt, audio and video presentations, and very interactive class sections. They also communicate real-life examples so that the students can easily catch up on the topics. Term exams are usually conducted in 5 months. And before every term exam, we have 2 internals. Sem exams are conducted in October and March. If we cover the most important portions that the teachers have mentioned, it is very easy to pass the exams. Most students can pass the exam without fear if they have studied the important topics and questions covered in previous question papers.

Our college is providing internships to students under finishing school and asap program. But I haven't participated in any of these. So I don't know about any of these internships. Under the finishing school scheme, selected students can undertake internships in banks and gain experience. Apart from this, students are taking online courses freely provided by Coursera with help of college. Many students are participating in internships provided through LinkedIn and Internshala.

The placement cell in our college is performing very well. Last year we have 280 placements. From 6 semister students can participate in drives. We have around 30+ companies and banks such as south Indian bank, hdfc, etc. The companies are offering around 2lakh p.a for posts in various fields. They are given training for 6 months and get posted. Our college has also conducted training programs so that the students can perform very well. Last year around 50% of students got placed in reputed companies exactly around 280 students are selected. My plan after my degree is to do CA. My dream is to become a chartered accountant. And I am working hard for this.

For the aided program, the fees are less than 6000. And there are fees concessions for sc, st, obc, oec category students every year. An E-grantz facility for minority students is available. And various other scholarships are provided. I got an E-grantz scholarship. So every year I got a stipend of 1200 rupees. I haven't got any job as the recruitment process is starting afterward.

I enjoy my campus life as it is less stressful. Having great friends and also our teachers are very friendly. Our annual fest named smrithi is conducted in the month of November. And tech fest is also conducted in the same month. Our library has the largest resources. It has books on every area including books of the ancient era.10,000+ books are available and we have English Malayalam and Hindi libraries. The classroom is well-occupied. We have a smart classroom. Although the rooms space is less for 62 students, so it is a little uncomfortable. But other amenities like a fan board and projector are very efficient. We have many extracurricular activities such as yoga, football, cricket, hockey, etc. There are various clubs performing for the benefit of students and society. We have n.s.s program, NCC, entrepreneurship club, environment club, cooking club, Jesus youth, etc. We have a placement cell to deal with campus recruitments. There is a blood donation camp initiated by students and tailoring units.
