Remarks
First of all, i want to tell you that among other state governments in Jharkhand, BIT SINDRI remains on the top. You have to qualify JEE MAINS with good marks, i mean above 87 percentile for the general category to get admission in this college. for OBC, you should have a minimum above 80 percentile to get admission in it. The counseling process is done by JCECE and here they will verify your JEE result, other documents such as 10-12 mark sheet, Jharkhand domicile, and after you get a particular branch in this college through the counseling process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the electrical engineering branch of BIT SINDRI because from my childhood, i love to solve some electrical appliances problems and from that age, i dreamed to be an electrical engineer. In BIT Sindri, you meet with highly qualified faculty members and most of them have completed their Ph.D. and works as senior teachers in this college. They focus on each and every student and they give their best to do the overall development to all students studying here. Here, the whole BTech is divided into 8 semesters which is going to be completed in 4 years. Each semester comprises of two mid-semester and one end semester. Viva is also taken by teachers of the practical subject. If you study at a constant pace throughout the semester, it will be easy for you to pass each semester with good marks.
Internships Opportunities
Here in this college, you will get many internship opportunities provided by Internshala. They provide internships in every field of interest like in teaching, graphics designing, in content writing, and also provide internships in a subject matter expert i.e. as a doubt solver of various questions. Overall, this college provides a good internship experience for the better development of a student. I did an internship as a subject matter expert provided by internal where i get paid approx rs 5000 per month and also a stipend of rs 1000. Though mine one was part-time, you also get a full-time internship here.
Placement Experience
In this college, many core companies came here for the placement. Here you are eligible for placements after completion of your Btech degree i.e. from eight semesters. Here many-core companies such as TATA, BCCL, and many more companies came to give better placement offers to students, and many IT companies such as TCS, Udemy, and many more companies came here. Overall BIT brings maximum companies for better placements. The average placement in this college is 5-6 lakhs per annum and the highest package goes around 15 lakhs per annum. Here almost 40% of students are getting placements in good companies. I also go for a better placement after completion of my BTech degree from BIT.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you belong to general/obc/ews, you have to pay approximately Rs15000 per year to the college which is very low as compared to other colleges all over in India. Here the best thing in this college is that it takes an almost negligible fee from every girl student who pursues their BTech degree from this college. Here you will get various scholarship opportunities like E-Kalyan and many other sources. You also get internship opportunities provided by this college where you get paid as well as you gain experience with it. This college has a very good placement record, so you don't have to fear so much about placement factors about this college.
Campus Life
Though my 1st year totally spent at my home, so i do not have such living experience in this college. But as far i heard, this college organizes many annual events, tech fest to reduce the load of vast study of the student. There is one Central Library in the college which provides free books to each and every student of this college for a particular time and after that, you have to reissue that book. This college organizes various intra branch, inter-college football, cricket, volleyball tournament among the students to give them personal experience and keep them fit throughout the session. You also see the various quizzes, writing competitions also in this collage. There are various clubs, societies formed in the college which give knowledge as well as experience which helps in the overall development of an individual. Such clubs are, model club, Leo club, eco-club, literary society, girls club, hncc and many more which organizes many fests, events for the benefit of each student
