The admission process initially consisted of a paragraph writing and extempore round then there was the PI round. I also applied for MICA, XIMB, KJ sowmaiya but I couldn't get into MICA. So I thought GIM will be the best choice for considering the options I had.

The curriculum changes in the 2nd year depending upon the majors you choose but it remains the same for everyone in the first year. Faculties are really good they have a great way of explaining all the topics with real life examples from the business world and they try to make a point to make each class interactive and make every topic a discussion within the class.

The SIP opportunities are also really good almost all the companies coming for placements also come for the SIP programme and the stipend goes upto 1.5Lacs per month and the average SIP stipend is 50000 per month.

The college provides you with great placement opportunities considering its one of the premier management institutes. 98% overall placed with the highest package of 25.6 LPA and average is 11.4 LPA. 18% converted from SIP to PPO and the companies coming on campus are Aditya Birla, arcisium, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Flipkart, crisil.

The fee for the PGDM program is around 21Lakh for 2 years plus your personal expenses. There are some scholarships available if you go through the achievers round. You need to have some achievement extracurricular activities to apply for the achievers round.

The campus life is really great everyone here works hard and parties harder. There are many clubs and activities going continuously and it will be really fun for you to join and participate. There is a great variety of books available in the library. All in all it's a very engaging programme but you will have a lot of fun that's for sure.

Hostel facilities are really good. The rooms are very spacious with great furniture and wifi facilities. The mess food is also really good with a great variety of meals being served every day. The hostels are compulsory for the first year of the programme.

Initially, I was asked to write about a comparison between theatres and OTT platforms for the written test. Then there was an extempore round before the PI round. Then in the PI round, they started with the basic question like Tell me about yourself, then they asked questions from my CV and hobbies, there were also some technical questions from my engineering background. So I would suggest preparing well on everything you have mentioned in your CV.
