I applied in SHUATS by online portal it needs the basic information like 12th mark sheet,adhar card, birth certificate, a certificate in any games/cultural activities (if present). The age limit is not fixed. It takes an admission test before admission. Cut-off nearly 80%.
Course Curriculum Overview
I liked Btech agriculture and since SHUATS is a 100 yr old renounces institution I took admission there. Student: faculty ratio is quite good since it's a University about 10:1. A maximum of the faculty members are either doctorate or pursuing doctorate degrees. In one year there are 2 semesters so my course has 8 semesters i.e 4yrs. Sem exam held between September/ October and then between March/April (end sem)
Internships Opportunities
Internships are given from sem 2 to sem 8 where paying varies from 4k/month to 30k/months as per jobs. Jobs like organizing, creating, hiring , raising funds, etc are a part of these processes. One can get to know about them through online portals or the college notice board And the application is taken online.
Placement Experience
One is allowed for campus placements in 7/8 semesters that is at 4yr. Companies that have tie-ups are ITC, Amazon, Bijus, Mahindra etc. The highest package ever received was 12lakhs/yr Average package was 7lakhs/yr My target is UPSC. Many students are selected for GATE this year the no was 18.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure varies from BSc - 100k /yr B.tech - 150k /yr Food tech - 125k /yr etc. Many MNC's like Amazon, Mahindra, ITC, etc do direct campus interviews in our college. College also provides UPSC lectures from bijous (T&C) It also provides the different type of scholarship For students as per their eligibility
Campus Life
Annual fest does occur at the end of the year, like food fest, science fest, annual sports, eSports tournaments, etc. Classrooms are overall good well spaced and clean. We also have a big library for students as well as faculty members. The college participates in inter-college tournaments. Basketball football kho-kho and badminton are the sports which hold the winning streak till now.
