GBU-Review

First of all, if you want to take admission to GBU you will have to go through the GBTU exam. It's a very easy exam and on the basis of the rank, you will be given your branches. You will be called for counseling. Then you will be given your branches accordingly and you will have to submit the fees at that moment only When I applied I submitted 65000(Hostel+mess) + 52000(semester) +10000(security money) after fee submission you will be called on a different date for hostel allocation.

I am in information technology. I chose it. All the faculty members are good when we were in the first year but you will find someone everywhere who is not liked by students. But most of the teachers were supportive and well knowledged Our Maths teacher Mr.Kp Singh he was very good at maths and there were several more teachers. If you will seek the knowledge you will definitely get it teachers were highly qualified (Ph.D.). You will have a mid-semester of 15 marks. They were said to be the toughest and will have the end sem in December. The exams were of some were moderate some was difficult.

Various internships programs are being offered in the summer but it happens all the year you will receive the offers of the paid internships so if you are interested you can go for it. Basically, college doesn't play an imp role in providing internships but if you are aware keep yourself contacted with the placement cell teachers and they will keep you updated with the internships and also will help in growing.

I can't say it has a very high placement rate but basically, placements happen only in iits and nits so if you want a placement it's all on you if you will work hard you definitely will get placed whether on-campus or off-campus the placement package of management courses are high but if we talk about rate then ICT is higher than any other dept.

Fees are now increased when I took the admission it was 52000 but when I checked recently I saw the fees were increased. if you are a local of U.P and if your father is not a government employee, you will receive a scholarship by filling the scholarship form on up scholarship. Gov. General candidates receive 50 to 55 thousand and it increases accordingly for other caste candidates. Well, they are now seen to increase the fees for every new first-year student's seniors before I have 49500 fees and now it is increased to approx 70000.

GBU has a huge campus of 511 acres. The campus is very beautiful and lively. The hostels are also very good. If you are a sportsman you will definitely gonna love its campus it has a different ground for every sport a complete stadium for cricket as well as football but football is not that famous in GBU. It has an annual fest Abhivyanjana that happens in mid of October it's a 3-day event you gonna love this event whole gbu inside the stadium. These 3 days seem to be the best of the whole year than in January comes shauryautsav its is basically a sports event and then comes the food fest daawat-e-gbu. It has indoor stadium that makes this campus even more sightseeing and there are clubs also eg techno club and etc.

Hostels are pretty good. We have single rooms with a bed a table and a chair and a balcony the room is good but they are continuously decreasing their budgets so they are replacing the expensive furniture with the Normal ones. The food in the mess is quite good in comparison to all the colleges in Delhi NCR. Hostels are compulsory but if you want to live outside it depends upon you there are students who are from nearby areas who rarely stay in their hostel rooms. Overall you will enjoy the hostel life at full here and also if you are more into studies then also you will love the hostels.
