Remarks

I only applied to Bankura Christian College for B.Sc in Zoology. For addmission in this course have some addmission criteria as like pass marks ( minimum 60%) in 10+2th board examination (state or CBSC). If you have any quota for admission like OBC, Sc, St, etc you can apply for addmission. Here, only merit-wise admission is done. So if you are eligible, then the college authority provide your name on the merit list and you can admission here by paying the admission fee.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love Zoology so that's why I am taking this course. Here the no of students is 50 and In this department have 5 faculty for Those students who enroll for this course. All faculty have highly qualified and some professors have Ph.D. holders, nowadays for COVID 19, the college was closed that why all classes are in online mode but have not any fault in teaching methods (like completion of syllabus, Topics presentation, etc. ). The exam is held within 6months I mean as semester wise and the internal exam is held in the middle of the semester. There are not difficult to pass the exams. If you regularly attend the class you can pass the exams.

Class Size: 1Course Fees: INR 3420 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college provided some Scholarships :- 1) National Scholarship ( NSP) 2) SVMCM Scholarship 3) OASIS Scholarship etc. In this college, the study per year average is 10000. For any Courses.

Campus Life

Every year college provided Social functions for freshers. The college has a Student Group for helping studies. Every month college provided seminars for all students department-wise. College provides books from Liberty and from the digital library.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.
