Remarks
The admission process for gim was very rigorous. We had to give a written ability test for the first stage then we had our extempore round and finally the personal interviews. I applied for welinker, IFMR ,balaji institute, and i were short-listed for all of them but gim was near to my hometown and it was providing me with my core specializations, i joined GIM.
Course Curriculum Overview
Because the course curriculum was inclined towards the requirements of the current industry. Faculty and students in GIM are in the ratio of 1:18 but it doesn't feel hard at all to approach any faculty. They are available 24*7 for doubts and any personalized advice. We have a trimester system and recently we had our first midterm and it was pretty decent in terms of difficulty level but the time given was a bit less
Fees and Financial Aid
the overall cost of the course is 21 lakhs plus the personal costs that you will incur in two years. Talking about the cost to study analysis, what I feel is it is expensive as compared to the other colleges, moreover looking at the median package of 11.4 it feels like expensive. There is an Achiever's round before any competitive exam, which leads you directly to the interview round based on your past achievements like in sports, job arts etc.
Campus Life
The biggest Fest of GIM is Inception organized by the Club named Inception. there are many different kinds of events every week or two as we have 28 clubs and society inside and GIMis a student-driven campus. There is a library which is opened 24*7 open and has a capacity of over 100 students at a time with a vast variety of physical books and e-library too. The campus has a Multipurpose Hall inside which we have 3 TT tables, 3 badminton courts. one cricket pitch, swimming pool, basketball court, running track. and a tennis court as well.
