Remarks
I have applied for 2-3 other college of the same university but i choose FIMT only because its located nearby my home and fees of this college is low as compared to college. To get admission in BBA you need a minimum of 45% marks in the 12th class. Yes, the college has limited seat so based on IPU entrance test marks and 12th marks college shortlist student for admission. FIMT is a reputed college so its difficult to get admission also.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen to study BBA because i was looking for a professional course in management so this was the only option after the 12th. The college has a good number of regular and visiting faculty so the faculty and student ratio is good. Most of the faculty members are P.hd holders in their respective subjects. All faculty members have minimum 5 years of teaching experience. Few faculty members has 20 years of teaching experience also. Exam conducted after every 6 months. The semester exam is not much difficult. Passing marks is only 40%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The BBA course costs around 60000 rupees per year. There is no fees hike policy. College provides scholarships to brilliant students. For financial assistance, colleges provide options to students to submit fees in installments. There is no campus job during study. If you are looking for part-time job during study then the placement cell of college helps.
Campus Life
The college has many social groups and clubs. Every social group has a different name. There is a social group that helps to study poor children call the NSS group. There is a dance group, drama group, sports team, etc. The classroom has ample space, big board, projector for a video explanation of topics. College has more than 4 libraries. Every department has its own library. The best things are that you can visit any library and you can study there or you can take book for home study also.
