Remarks
I applied for VNR vignan jyothi and Gokaraju Rangaraju colleges but I could not get a seat in these colleges so my next choice is BVRIT Hyderabad college of engineering for women. I finally got admission in BVRITH. I didn't avail any quota for admission. The minimum rank for an SC student is in the range of 40,000 - 50,000 and it varies for different colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose ECE because I will have an opportunity to take either software or core as my career. There will be 1 faculty for every 60 students. Most of our faculty are doctorates and associate professors. The term exams are conducted every 2 months.
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft, Adobe and few other companies provide internship opportunities. These internships gives us industrial exposure so that we can know what's happening in an industry. Through this experience of doing an internship we can get a google job opportunity.
Placement Experience
From 3-2 students are eligible for placements. The different companies visited are Capgemini, Johndeer, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Flipcart, TATA consultancy, Virtusa, etc. The number of offers is 164. The minimum salary is 3.5 LPA. The maximum salary is 26.57 LPA. The average salary is 4.31 LPA. Almost 70 -80 percent of the students got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee we need to pay is 90,000 per annum. We also can avail few scholarships like Pragati and saksham scholarships. Faculty will let us know if there are any scholarships that we can apply for and get benefitted from that. We will get a job for sure because of the placements
Campus Life
If there is an event like engineers day or mathematics day, technical events are conducted. Depending on the occasion events are planned like dancing, singing, quiz competition etc. We have a very big library where different collections of books are available. The different clubs are toastmasters, Meraki, vyna, sharing etc. Sports meet are also held oftenly.
