1. i have completed my graduation from, amity university, Noida. 2.no quota availed 3. addmission criteria of this college is through entrance exam, no minimum marks age required. 4. addmission process was smooth, there was an interview round after the entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

1. i choose this course because of my interest. 2. faculty in the college are very cooperative and educated. 3. minimum degree required is Ph.D. 4. exams were held 2 times per semester. it wasn't too difficult to pass and 75% attendance is compulsory.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

best-seller, vero moda, zara and many other companies. The stipend was not given but if in case any company will give stipend it will be 6000 to 8000 per month or overall internship period. i haven't done any projects or internships during college because of covid.

Placement Experience

last year. best sellers, aditya birla, veromoda, zara, etc. annual ctc of 3 to 3.5 lac. no percentage is required for placements its all depends on stuents portfolio and knowledge of the industry. i was looking for jobs after getting degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

around 200000 per year and cost of study was too high. college didnt provide any such equipments or materials needed in course even in exam students need to carry chart paper for themselves. scholarship will only given to some specific candidates before addmission procedure. i wont got any job on campus.

Campus Life

amity youth festival, holi, diwali, janmastmi, pongal etc. all types of festivals are celebrated in college. there was a big library in college you can easily report to any time within college hours. desks, benches, mics, projector, ac fans, lights etc. even in computer labs also. annual sports day programs were happen every year for sports lovers even other college studets were also allowed to participate.

Hostel Facilities

a single bed, rooms were big and tables with chair, almirah, 1 pillow , 2 bedsheets and 1 towel will be given on hostel. mess were not included in hostel. raipur, just behind college were good option to look for pg near amity.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cuz the curriculum includea almost everything. Nothing could ever prepare someone for real world applications until unless you step out in the real world itself. The rush before the exams. I wish the teachers would manage it better. The first semester was horrible due to this. The end term exams start almost after a month of mid terms which makes the semester end exam quite difficult.

In college, we used to get many facilities which are necessary for a student. In every way, our school manager sir and other teachers used to cooperate very well so that the children do not face any problem. The children liked their style of teaching very much. They used to come to the class at an accurate timing of their study time and used to put up questions etc. to the children one by one.

Amity is not as bad as you might think.

Placement Experience:

From the third year you're eligible for campus placement. The placement is not that great as of now since asft is pretty new and they're still fetching companies but there are options. The campus placement advisors are pretty great and helpful. And even if you don't find campus placement, there are a lot of openings now for the same since fashion designing has become pretty popular since the last few years

Reality Of Joining NIFT As A Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. 8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.

I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. But the major part of me for choosing this college is because I was denied by my parents to learn animation as that was my first preference. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk. Admission process for Amity is quite moderate, you have to have 70% aggregate in PCM to apply for BTECH, and the students have to go through an interview round to get an admission letter based o nthe interview...Read More
