I took IIT-JEE and got AIR 284 and so IITD (Electrical engineering ) was the best option for me. I was also getting computer science in Kharagpur but Delhi is where most of my relatives live so I chose Delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are a list of courses , I.I.T. Delhi provides science-based engineering education with a view to produce quality engineer-scientists. The curriculum provides broad based knowledge and simultaneously builds a temper for the life long process of learning and exploring.
Internships Opportunities
In IITD you have to complete 5 design credits to get your degree and an internship gives you two credit so students here do two internships .Our College have a T&P cell that call all the companies for training and of the stipend every company gives a stipend of more than 25000 per month.
Placement Experience
It’s one of the best technological institutes in the country, of course it’s bound to have fantastic placements! Some of the top companies in the world visit IITD, and offer higher salaries than most other engineers across India can only dream of. The average salary is about Rs.12 lac, and the highest salary offered could even be seven times that, which is just frankly bonkers if you ask us.

These are permissible to about 25% of students. The present value of Merit-cum-Means scholarship is Rs. 300 per month for general students and the recipient is exempted from paying tuition fee.
Hostel Facilities
There are 13 hostels, each accommodating about 400 students. There isn't any hostel curfew in any of the hostels but opposite sex isn't allowed beyond visitors room at any time of the day. There Each hostel has its own mess, most of them stay open 24 hours. And there are some joints like Amul and Lipton in institute area which too remain open at night.
Exam Structure
Exams are okay, it depends mostly on the professor and course. Most of the students here start reading about the exam 2-3 days before exam and manage to do well in exam. There are mainly 3 exams for a course in a semester and that's good because if you mess one or even two of them you can do better on others.

There you will have to pay the fee and fill some forms and you will be given your hostel and your i-cards, medical book etc.
