Good College if you want to focus on your career

I applied for 5 programs under Bachelors in Business Administration and 1 program under Human Resource Management. I cleared the exams for Symbiosis University, Christ University, Delhi Technological University, and Guru Gobind Singh Inderprasth University and couldn't make it to the Indian Institute of Management Indore. After doing research I came to the conclusion that Maharaja Surajmal was the most viable option for me under GGSIPU therefore I joined it. Admission Procedure: For taking admission in IPU one must clear its CET exam and attend counseling rounds so I appeared for CET exam code 125 for BBA and scored decent marks(214) after two weeks a rank list was released and then I had to register myself for counseling and select the colleges under IPU according to my preference. After the subsequent rounds of counseling, I had to report to the college get my documents verified and pay the fees. In my opinion, IP University can do this Procedure fast.

I chose Bachelors in Business Administration because it was the safest option for a commerce student and I had no idea about which course to choose after high school. In our College, there is a ratio of 1 Teacher to 50 Students. Teachers are well qualified and do know their subject in-depth but sometimes due to obsolete curriculum or old teaching methods, they are unable to connect to the students and therefore struggle to convey their message. We have our term exams twice a year and the difficulty level of these exams are really easy and anyone can crack it with a week of preparation.

The College doesn't have an internship cell and one has to find an internship on his own if he wants to do although the college expects students to get an internship after the 4th semester. Students, therefore, have to find on their own and no help is provided by the college for internship.

6th Semester Students become eligible for the placements offered by the companies. Last year many companies visited the campus including TCS Amazon Customer service.10 students were offered 10 LPA packages and 15 were offered 8 LPA CTC. The highest Package offered by the company was 44.75 LPA by Adobe to one student and the average package is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Around 80% of students get placed but many of them deny it. I will apply for the Goldman Sachs analyst post-off-campus and participate in their Exam to secure a package of around 40 LPA.

The tuition fees of our curriculum are 88000 per annum with which one has to pay University fees of 15000 and Activity fees of rupees 1000 which makes total fees 104000 rupees per annum but as students had an online session for 2 straight terms it feels the fees are not worth it although it's less if we compare to other private universities. Companies do come to the college every year for placement but mainly the BPOs are there.

We have college-level fest Genesis and University level fest Anugoonj which is yet to be conducted for our batch due to covid. Availability of Books in the book banks and libraries is a huge setback for our college as one rarely finds books in the library. The classroom has all the necessary amenities such as blackboard light fans benches. There are provisions for Outdoor and indoor sports in our college and an annual sports day is organized. There are many Societies in the college for every interest be it photography, theatre, music, dance, or business named sifar Antara encore Natraj enactus.
