Remarks
I have applied to four colleges but chooses NHIT, Durgapur because it has the comfortable fees that any student can afford. The minimum marks need for admission to this college are 90% on the 10th and 90% on the 12th also. The admission process is nice and easy. Firstly you have filled up the application form of the college and submit it on the college website and wait for the merit list. After the merit list came out you have to pay the admission fees on the college website and submit the printout of the admission fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen electrical engineering because I have an understanding of electronic devices earlier. The student's ratio is about 20:20 The teachers are good and well knowledgeable. They are always ready to help you in any situation and at any time. There are 2 semesters per year at this college and have extra 2 internals at this college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are comfortable for students. But one can get help from scholarships provided by the college on a merit basis. The fees are 260000 per year. The college provides a branch of scholarships to its students. I have got one scholarship which had helped me to get admission to this college without any hassle. The fees hike policy is not too often it depends on the year. The college provides Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Scholarship, Tata Scholarship, Mahindra Scholarship also others.
Campus Life
The college has many fests on a year one can enjoy it with their teammates. In summer there was a summer fest in the month of April it is so good for students. There was something about 20000 books in this college library that many students can afford their books fees. This college has a large ground that any sports can play on it. It has facilities for Cricket, Football, Basketball etc.
