Remarks
I am a student of birsa institute of technology, Sindri. I am here to review my college. Bit Sindri is one of the most oldest and reputated colleges in Jharkhand since 1949. The admission process starts at bit Sindri is after the declaration of jee advance exam's result. After jee advance exam's result the counciling process is started which is conducted by jceceb. The minimum percentile required to take admission in bit Sindri is different for a different cast.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 10 branches available at bit Sindri. Some of them are mechanical, electronic, cse, information technology, electrical, chemical, mining, metallurgy, production, civil, and others. I choose information technology for its increasing scope in its sectors. The faculty of bit is awesome. All professors are PhD holders and having experience, how to teach students. Between Every mid-SEM, there are two internal assessments taken by the college.
Internships Opportunities
One can get an internship in the first year. But many students apply for an internship after the second year. Also, internships are provided to every student from different internships sites like Internshala Aicte and many more. All students can apply for internships from the year of college.
Placement Experience
The placement ratio is average at bit Sindri, but upcoming year the placement is very well. In 2020 the placement ratio is all about 70-80%. The highest package is 13 lakh and average package is 6 lakh. There are total 400 students got campus placement in 2020 pandemic.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of all branches is the same. Also, the fee structure is very low at bit sindri. For girls and schedule cast/tribe and TFW candidate the tution fee is only 32 rupees, which shows how bit helping all the students. Also scholarship are provided by college and government of jharkhand. Some of them are e- kalyan etc.
Campus Life
There are more than 25 clubs are available at bit Sindri. Some of them are art club, model club, Leo club, iete club, iste club,,nss, prayaas India etc. All clubs are handled by different clubs member. There is a big library on the bit campus. Also, there are coding clubs for every programmer.
Hostel Facilities
In bit Sindri, a hostel is provided to every student at the time of admission. The infrastructure of hostels is very well. The following facilities are provided by the college to every student in hostels are- 24*7 electricity, all-time wifi connection, every time clean hostels, and others different facilities are available. The mess of bit is very good. They provide 4 times meal.
