Detailed review about panimalar engineering college

The panimalar engineering college comes under anna university and hence counselling for the same happened in anna university. Based on cut-off marks respective colleges and courses were available. I was about to choose Sri Venkateswara College of engineering, but due to insufficient cut off, I couldn't get it. But still, I was also seeing for panimalar engineering college and I got this college.

Computer science engineering course is special in this college because of their high class training and great placements for that course. Even students from far off states come to study this course in this college. The faculty to students ratio is 10:1 and there's always a great number of staffs to provide good lectures even though our staffs are absent. Most of the professors and assistant professors are qualified with a PhD degree in their respective domains and are well trained to provide great teaching.

Placement is really good in this college and about 95% of students with no arrears got their jobs through campus placements here. The campus placement has the highest package of 6.5 lakh and 2.2 lakh being the lowest for Students from the computer science department. Companies that come for placements include Accenture, Infosys, Zoho, LTI, kaar technology, Wipro, cognizant, etc.

The fee structure is about 1,25,000 each year for four years which in total is about 5,00,000 precisely. There are no more fees for anything else, except exam fee, which is 150 rupees per paper and should be paid directly to the university. There are not much opportunities for scholarship unless you're a Christian. Christian students get scholarships here from Christian minority groups and also we can get first graduation scholarships if we are the first graduates here.

Life at campus is good as the infrastructure is of international class and all laboratories and libraries are fully air-conditioned. There are department libraries separately and a huge centralised library for all students with a digital library system. There aren't much social groups or clubs being run by students here. Everything is carried over by faculties and staffs in this college and also not many cultural or social events happens in this college
